🚨 Emergency Vehicle Lockout – VW T-Roc 2021 🚨
We were called out today via the AA for a customer locked out of their VW T-Roc 2021. The AA didn’t have the correct lock pick for this vehicle’s lock type, so they requested our assistance.
We arrived on-site within 25 minutes. Before gaining entry, we checked the customer’s spare key and immediately confirmed that the spare key supplied by the VW dealer was not the correct key for the vehicle 😬 – which explained why it wouldn't open or operate the car.
We then carried out a non-destructive vehicle entry, gaining access safely with no damage ✅

We were recently called out by a fellow business we regularly work with after they experienced issues starting their vehicle. At first, it looked like a possible key or immobiliser fault.

While securing the vehicle’s battery, the electrics unexpectedly tripped the central locking, locking the doors — with the keys still inside!

🚗🔑 Suzuki Alto Key Rescue! 🔧🛠️

We were called out by a customer who had just bought a secondhand 2010 Suzuki Alto. After the sale, the seller posted them a 2nd key—but when it arrived, the car wouldn’t start. ❌🔑

🔍 On inspection, we found the immobiliser wasn’t switching off, preventing the engine from starting. The reason? The key was missing its transponder chip! When the seller swapped the key casing, they forgot to transfer the chip, which was loose and not attached to the remote board.

✅ We programmed a brand new transponder chip and installed it into the key.
✅ We reprogrammed the central locking so it worked with the remote again.
✅ We also ordered a new key blade, as the original was worn and sticking in the ignition.

Another happy customer back on the road with a working key and remote! 🛣️
