Commercial Vehicle Technician Wanted (Mobile Role) 🔧
Plant and Vehicle Maintenance are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our growing team, providing 24/7 mobile breakdown, servicing and repair cover across Scotland.
This is a fully mobile role, working primarily on vans, commercial vehicles, HGVs and trailers, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and roadside assistance at customer locations.
Role Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair faults on vans, HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and inspections on-site
• Attend breakdowns and respond to emergency call-outs when required
• Work independently and manage jobs efficiently in the field
• Use your diagnostic skills to identify and resolve faults with minimal supervision
Requirements:
• Proven experience working on commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Confident working independently and managing your own workload
• Flexible, reliable and willing to participate in a 24/7 call-out rota when applicable
• Experience with DAF, Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit vehicles is advantageous
This is a role with a high level of responsibility, so we're looking for someone who is capable, motivated and confident in their ability to work independently and deliver excellent results.
📍 Location: Mobile role covering Scotland
💰competitive rate depending on experience and willingness to attend breakdowns sometimes at a moments notice
