Today we were tasked with the replacement of a 2.0 Ecoblue transit timing belt roadside. Our client called us this morning at 9AM- we arranged all parts then attended the site and completed the job quick and efficiently.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for various vehicles Including vans, trucks, Trailer and construction plant and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. You will be required to work independently and manage your time effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform equipment repairs and maintenance on-site, ensuring optimal functionality.
Assemble and disassemble machinery as required, utilising hand tools and power tools.
Interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
Execute heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper lifting techniques.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential.
Capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the role.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
A valid driver's licence is preferred for travel to various job sites.
