T&C Site Services Backs Chappel & Wakes Colne Cricket Club in Five-Year Sponsorship Deal

We’re proud to announce T&C Site Services as a major sponsor of Chappel and Wakes Colne Cricket Club, marking the start of a five-year partnership running through to 2030. As part of the agreement, T&C will have a sponsorship board at the ground, with the company logo featured on all adult league playing shirts throughout the season, providing vital, ongoing support to the club.

Competing in highly competitive leagues across Essex and Suffolk, the club offers strong regional exposure throughout the East of England. This partnership strengthens T&C’s brand presence while aligning it with a club focused on development, sustainability, and community involvement.

Crucially, the sponsorship funding is reinvested directly back into the club and helps improve facilities, maintain the ground and practice nets, support playing and training equipment, and strengthen junior and grassroots cricket. This includes investing in coaching resources and creating opportunities for young players and those new to the game.

T&C’s Commercial Lead, Dan Jones, plays an active role at Chappel & Wakes Colne Cricket Club as Junior Coach/Coordinator and Sunday captain, supporting coaching programmes, school cricket initiatives, and the progression of players from junior to senior cricket.

Long-term partnerships like this are essential to keeping the club sustainable, developing cricket at all levels, and providing a positive experience for players, members, and supporters alike.

Celebrating Community & Collaboration at Raisby Quarry’s Open Day

T&C Site Services were delighted to join Breedon’s Raisby Quarry for their September Open Day. A fantastic event that brought together employees, families and the local community to celebrate the site and raise money for a worthy cause.

The day was well attended with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Families enjoyed a sponsored walk around the quarry and the chance to meet Raisby’s historic herd of 48 goats, which have called the site home for many years. Together, the event raised an impressive £700 for a local cancer charity - a brilliant achievement that highlights the generosity of everyone involved.

For us, the Open Day was also an opportunity to reflect on the strong working relationship with the team at Raisby. Since we took over tyre support at the site four years ago, the collaboration between our team and the quarry has gone from strength to strength. The Assistant Quarry Manager highlighted the positive improvements in site safety, noting the role of our technical support and the responsive service from our Middlesbrough Depot as part of the quarry team’s ongoing commitment to safe operations.

A special mention goes to Stevie Fitzpatrick, whose skills, attention to detail and professional attitude were highlighted by the Raisby team - further underlining the value T&C Site Services brings day in and day out.
Events like this also give us the chance to meet colleagues from across the wider Breedon business, from Finance and Commercial to Aggregate Sales, and to share ideas around our shared goal: helping Breedon deliver their goals on safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

We’re proud to have been part of this memorable day at Raisby Quarry and look forward to continuing our close partnership with the team in the years ahead.

🎉 A Huge Thank You from Christine Adams 🎉

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news - Christine Adams has completed the Potters ‘Arf Marathon 2025!

On Sunday, 28 September, she crossed the finish line in 3 hours 50 minutes, proudly earning herself a well-deserved medal to add to her collection. But more importantly, thanks to the incredible support from friends and colleagues. Christine has raised over £1,000 for Oncology Ward 202 at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

This generous fundraising will go directly to the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM Charity), helping provide vital equipment, patient comforts and life-saving research that make such a difference to patients, their families and the staff who care for them.

Christine said “Thanks to the amazing support I’ve received, I’ve been able to raise over £1,000 for our local cancer unit - and I’m so proud to have been part of this event.”

From all of us at T&C, and on behalf of Christine, thank you to everyone who donated, cheered her on and helped make this possible. Together, you’ve made a real difference.

If anyone still wishes to donate please follow this link.
