🌧️ REMEMBER… WINTER IS COMING! 🌧️

With the darker nights and miserable weather creeping back in, now is the perfect time to check your headlights! 💡

This VW Golf failed its MOT due to poor light output, caused by badly deteriorated and cloudy headlight covers.

Rather than replacing both headlights at a huge cost, we saved the customer some serious money by refurbishing and polishing the existing headlights. 👌

And the results speak for themselves! 😍✨

Not only do they look so much better, but restoring the lenses helps get the light output back where it should be — making those dark winter evenings a whole lot safer. 🚗💡

Don’t wait until your MOT fails!

🔧 Another one saved from becoming a much bigger problem! 🔧

This van came to us after having previously been elsewhere for a wet belt replacement, followed not long after by a head gasket repair.

Unfortunately, the sump had since developed a fairly substantial oil leak — and left unchecked, it could have turned into a much more serious (and expensive!) problem. 😬

We decided to go right back to the start, get everything cleaned up properly and identify exactly where the oil was coming from.

The leaks have now been repaired, everything cleaned up and checked over, and the van is back where it should be. 👌

🔋 THAT’S THE MINI SORTED! 🔋

This little Mini was our first call-out of the morning — a flat battery and in need of a jump start!

We got it started and brought it back to the garage, where we supplied & fitted a brand-new replacement battery. 👌

✅ Battery supplied & fitted
✅ All required battery coding completed
✅ Modules checked and back up & functioning correctly
✅ Job completed before 9am! ⏰

Not a bad start to the day! 😎

Now… I might actually get chance to enjoy a morning cuppa! ☕😂

Another one back on the road and another happy customer! 👊

Early Start for Greenlight Garage 👊🔧

Nice early start for us this morning, heading out to Stafford Hospital to help with a flat battery! 🚗🔋

We got the little MINI safely jump-started and back on the road, before bringing it back to the garage for a replacement battery. 🔧

Another customer back on the move and another job ticked off the list before the day has even properly started! 😎

We were contacted by a friend to help diagnose a mercedes sprinter none starting issue. Absolutely 0 comms to the ecu showed up when diagnosing so we checked all the plugs to find that one of the main fuses had blown and a plug on the ecu had melted
Customer had ordered a replacement ecu for us to get cloned and repaired their comms plug themselves. During the cloning process we still couldnt even bench read the ECU so had to open up the internals and try manually.
As you can see something very wrong had happened inside this ecu casing 😭🤣

Lucky for us with the help of our on-hand auto electricians we managed to manually read the immo data and clone over everything we could via the chips inside the board.
Ecu cloned and returned to customer within a couple of hours work 👊

Atleast the 300k mile volkswagen doesn’t let us down 🫡🤣

Aux belt snapped at 2pm today whilst Ben was moving some of his belongings from storage but a little help from Tom Biddulph & Megan Biddulph the little nemo is repaired and back on the road ready to support you on every breakdown!

NOT EVEN 3 YEARS OLD YET!!

Following a major service completed last week this beautiful 73 plate hybrid Honda came to us this morning after i advised the brake pads wearing thin and had developed a squeaking noise after they had warmed the brakes up!
The car hasn’t done ridiculous mileage either! We have put it down to the weight of all this new electric technology wearing them down faster than most new vehicles!

New brakes supplied and fitted whilst the customer waits and the squeak has been fixed! 😀

Ridiculous weather to be fighting hot exhausts & DPF’s but we always come through! Stay safe in the heat please everyone!

This nissan Qashqai came to us as the DPF was clogged and unable to regenerate itself and another garage had failed to clear the faults. We add our foam solution to the filter and let it dissolve the nasty soot build up inside before performing a forced Regen. The car took it perfectly, regenerated and cleared the exhaust and gave this family SUV its power back!

Remember we are always on hand to help with our specialists diagnostic tools no job is too small!
