How old is too old for a tyre?

Tyres can age even if the tread still looks healthy. Over time, the rubber can harden and start to deteriorate.

Look out for changes in tread condition, bulges or visible damage and cracks in the sidewall. You can also find a tyre's manufacture date in the four-digit code on the sidewall.

If yours are showing signs of age, come and let us take a look.
