🚗🚚 Why Do We Charge for Collection & Delivery? 🚚🚗

We know life is busy, and that's why we're pleased to offer a collection and delivery service for our Volvo customers.

Whether you're at work, at home, or simply struggling to fit your appointment around your day, we'll do our best to make things easier.

However, collection and delivery does come with costs:

✅ A member of staff leaves the workshop
✅ Additional fuel and vehicle expenses
✅ Insurance cover while your Volvo is in our care
✅ Time spent travelling rather than servicing and repairing vehicles

To keep our pricing fair and transparent, we charge:

🔹 £5 Collection & Delivery when booked alongside a Service and MOT
🔹 £10 Collection & Delivery when booked for an MOT only

Many garages no longer offer collection and delivery at all, but we believe a small charge represents excellent value for a convenient door-to-door service.

As always, we'll continue to provide honest advice, specialist Volvo care, and transparent pricing with no hidden surprises.

One of the benefits of being a dedicated Volvo specialist is that we've seen just about every Volvo quirk and common fault over the years.

⚠️🚗 Tyre Pressure Warning Light On in Your Volvo? 🚗⚠️

If you've recently seen a tyre pressure warning appear on your dashboard, don't panic. It doesn't always mean you have a puncture.

Modern Volvos use TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) sensors to monitor the pressure within your tyres and alert you to potential issues.

But here's something many owners don't realise...

🔋 TPMS sensors have built-in batteries.

These batteries are sealed inside the sensor and typically last around 7-10 years. Because all four sensors are usually fitted at the same time, it's common for them to start failing around the same age.

That's why we often see one TPMS sensor fail, followed by another a few months later.

Our Friday opening hours are now 6am–1pm, effective immediately.
All other hours remain unchanged: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm.
