Another successful delivery completed of these 2 Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK Sprinter curtainsider trucks - also on a lovely sunny day. It was a pleasure to build these for our customer Marshall Motor Group - they are both now ready to hit the road and we wish them many successful miles ahead 🚛🚛

We’re proud to hand over this custom build to another happy customer for their customer Guildford Tipper

Bespoke job spec includes:

✔️Crane subframe fitted with galvanised crossbearers
✔️Triple dropsides with one hinge per dropside reversed to retain dropside with reversible pillars
✔️Internal alloy flat reinforcing strips fitted to inside of dropsides
✔️Dropsides secured by Pesca locks x 12
✔️Rear advertising board
✔️Stalk lights fitted as required with rear mounted cranes
✔️Cone holder to O/S rear with 3 cones
✔️Body sides wrapped, decals to cab and rear sign board applied by

Another week, another perfect build! Check out this daily 7.2 ton curtainsider built for our customer Hendy Group for their customer The Log Store Group 🚛🪵🤩

Bespoke job spec includes:

✔️Alloy framed self supporting roof
✔️Internal load nets x 4
✔️Double rear doors with Z.P door furniture with sprung loaded door retainers
✔️Rear pull out step fitted to rear below N/S rear opening door
✔️Single colour black curtains with stainless steel locking buckles
✔️Reverse spot lamp fitted to N/S and O/S just behind rear wings with switch in can
✔️Reverse camera wired into IVECO system
✔️Vinyl wrap to cab, deflector and rear doors and printed curtains to current layout - applied by Solent Signs

We’re incredibly proud to share that Solent Body Builders has been announced as a finalist at the ABP British Bodyshop awards 2026 - the category for which we are nominated is the Autoraise Apprentice Small Employer of the Year award 🤩

This recognition means a lot to us and is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, guidance, mentorship and investment into the next generation who will be taking the future lead in our much loved industry 🚛

Good luck to our fellow nominees and although we would of course love to win this award, just to be nominated against some of the best in the industry is a real honour 🏆

Solent Signs are our experts at applying the signage for our trucks but this is just a small part of their business. They were recently asked to update the signage for Bella hair & beauty in preparation for their grand re-opening last month 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️🪮💄💅
