A LITTLE BIT OF JUSTICE.........please read.
A number of customers and local people will remember the issues we experienced surrounding a business trading under the very similar name South Coast Mobile Mechanics Ltd.
For a long time, this caused genuine confusion between that company and our own established business, South Coast Mobile Mechanic.
Dorset Council has now published the outcome of the case involving Mark Douglas Lowe, who traded under a number of mobile mechanic business names, including South Coast Mobile Mechanics Ltd.
He has now been sentenced to 2 years and 3 months in prison following an investigation involving 20 victims across 10 counties.
We’re sharing this simply because, over the years, we have had customers contact us believing we were connected with that company, when we never were.
South Coast Mobile Mechanic is, and always has been, a completely separate independent business. We are extremely grateful to the customers who continued to support us and who took the time to understand the distinction when the confusion arose.
Hopefully this official outcome finally draws a line under what was a very frustrating chapter for us and, more importantly, brings some closure to the customers who lost money.
