o direct you in the way you need to go to win. Kim Martinez - Co-Owner/Shipping & Receiving/ Track side Retail Sales. The go-to person of our team. When her time is free, she puts in her time perfecting the sales floor and the track trailers at SpeedMart. You will find Kim at the racetrack every Saturday night. Contact her at [email protected]. In her spare time, Kim loves anything to do with horses! She rides, shows and generally spends her time outdoors working on the ranch. Kelsey Carpenter - Purchasing/Sales Manager, Fabrication. Kelsey Started racing in 2001, To date, Kelsey has 7 season championships at Skagit Speedway, In 3 divisions of racing, 410, ASCS 360, and limited sprints, earning a total of 60+ Feature wins along the way. THINGS WE HAVE BEEN DOING AND WORKING ON THIS PAST YEAR.
(STEERING GEAR REBUILDS)
We all know how hard it has become to get our gears rebuilt and the need to get them back in a timely manner.
Since Mike Lewellen has become part of the Speedmart team we have been able to broaden our services to not only include our shocks,fuel pumps ,power steering pumps/gear rear ends,freshening but we have also built a steering gear dyno.
We are able to diagnose issue's that usually can't be duplicated unless actually running in the car and doing trial and error type situations.
Now we are able to keep all the components connected including gear,pump,wing valve,cylinder and lines so that we can run real time and help diagnose odd situations such as bad orings that won't leak but can suck air and create overflow through the fill cap.
(Just one instance) bad wing valves ect.
Bring you whole assembly and we can test it and rebuild all of it.
We mount up everything before rebuilding and run it on our newly build dyno.
We have made provisions to test not only dirt gears but also PAVEMENT right side steer gears as well..
