How badly do you want that fish? Well out of the last 3 times I have been out I wouldn’t have been able to go out with the FantomX radar. The fogs been thick and stayed around all day.

Make the most of the limited days we have and get a radar..

🚨 NEW LIFEJACKET LAW – NZ BOATIES! 🛟

Heads up everyone! From 9 October 2026, the law has changed. If you’re operating a recreational boat 6 metres or less, everyone on board must wear a properly fitted lifejacket whenever the boat is underway.

The team at McDermott Marine have got a full selection from babies to adults in stock!

As much as we all love getting out on the water, things can go wrong in seconds. This is about making sure we all get home safely, especially when we’ve got our families on board. ❤️

✅ Lifejackets on before you get underway.
✅ Make sure they’re the right fit for everyone.
✅ Check the weather and carry two waterproof ways to call for help.

Share this with your mates and help spread the word!
