There was certainly plenty of interest in this one at Saturday's GT Show!

Driven by race car driver Liam MacDonald, this unique build started life as a Ford Falcon XA GT Coupe before being modified to take on the look of an XC Cobra Coupe, complete with a range of race car enhancements.

The result of a seven-year labour of love, the car has only just been completed and is now getting ready for its racing debut at Teretonga Park during the Southland Sports Car Club's December meeting, where Liam will be competing in the OSCA Super Saloons class.

A big thank you to Liam for bringing it along and letting us include it in the show. It certainly got people talking!

Always a highlight having the Tour of Southland peloton ride past! 🚴‍♂️

Our team love getting out to cheer the riders on, especially with the Macaulay Ford & Good Tech Team Cycling Team out there representing us on the road, and our Ranger leading the way.

A big congratulations to Macaulay Ford & Good Tech Team Cycling Team rider Ben Dyball for claiming the blue Over 35 Jersey today! 💙👏

It’s been a busy morning at our invercargill branch as the GTs have been rolling in for the South Island Falcon GT Club’s 11th Annual Car Show.

The Club members have been doing an awesome job lining them all up and we’re almost ready to go.

To say this display is impressive is an understatement!

Come down and check them out from 10am-2pm. It’s a gold coin entry, with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House.
