Grateful experience. Promise Kept.

Customer's clutch is gone, badly slipping. We did our check and advise a new clutch with slave cylinder is needed.

We gave our quote and we also mentioned, our quote included a buffer for potential hiccups like seized bolt/nuts, so she is free to shop around and pick a shop that matches her budget the best. She replied, you have been taking care of my cars and my family's cars, i am happy to do this job at yours.

I'm grateful for the trust and i promised her that if actual time taken is less than what i quoted, i will reduce the labour amount.

So, another Clutch Job done! It was smoother than expected, and we honoured our word and reduce the bill. Glad that we got the job done and the customer save a little bit!

Sam is jacked. (Not relevant)
He came in with his Aygo, said Brake Lights and Reverse Lights are out. We checked on the site, they are all working. His Aygo only got one reverse light and the counter part is the fog light. Explained the design, we told him he doesnt need either fixed. He then asked us to Top up the engine oil. We checked, the dip stick showed no level, so, the car has been running with little to no oil. We topped up the level to max and remind Sam that it's best to react to whatever warning on dashboard, he took our advise and ask how much he owes us. I say, a review is fine, keep monitoring the oil level, there could be internal consumption as there is no visible external leak.
He is a man of his words. Here is the review!

Another warranty repair work came in!

2016 Toyota Auris

We know this customer for a while, we took care of his Vauxhall Insignia a while back! He recently bought a Toyota Auris from a local dealer to replace it. Honestly, it's a big upgrade I think haha.
Though, while being overall very reliable, a few months in, a Brake System Warning came up on the dashboard on the Toyota.v We first scan the computer system for fault codes, no relevant codes present. We then lift the car up to inspect the brakes component and found a leaking rear caliper. Brake fluid leaked led to a low brake fluid level, after we topped it up, the warning is off. We gathered our findings with photos and shared to the customer to request a warranty repair.A new caliper, a brake fluid renew and bleed, the car should be good again! With the approval of the warranty company, we ll start our work!|
(Sometimes, the warranty companies can be quite funny to deal with. Let's hope we got a straight approval this time!)

Another Anti-Rust Treating in progress. This Honda Civic Type R FK8 is receiving a much needed preventive treatment from UK Climate. The preparation of such job is quite important, we will take most of the Trim Cover, Under Tray, Wheel Arch Liners before applying the protecting coating.

Still one of Toyota's finest driver's cars. 🇯🇵❤️

This is not the common Celica, this one is the rare one with the 2ZZ engine, producing a decent 189bhp. Customer came in reporting the car has been overheating rapidly. We have done our diagnostic and have already started with our repair.
After any cooling system related work, we will give it multiple runs to confirm the fault has been rectified. Much respect for the owner for loving the old girl for such a long time!
