We're pleased to have sold 2 Gala RIBs this week, with these fantastic boats heading off to their new owners.

⛽🚤 Fuel Pontoon Open Until 3pm Today 🚤⛽

Planning to head up river for the Beating of the Bounds celebrations this evening?

To help everyone get ready for the flotilla and festivities, our fuel pontoon will be open until 3pm today.

We have both:
⚓ Petrol
⚓ Diesel

available, and you can pay directly on the pontoon, making it quick and easy to fuel up and get on your way.

The Beating of the Bounds is one of the great traditions on our waterway, with a fantastic turnout of vessels expected as the Mayor of Haverfordwest leads the ceremonial journey upriver to mark the historic fishery boundaries. It's always a brilliant sight to see so many boats enjoying the river together.

Whether you're heading upriver for the festivities or simply making the most of the sunshine, make sure you're fuelled up and ready for a great day on the water.

We’re proud to be part of something big for the Milford Haven Waterway 🌊

Rudders Boatyard is delighted to be a partner in the Aberdaugleddau Biosecurity Community Development (ABCD) Project, backed by £959,180 in funding to help protect our marine environment.

As part of this initiative, we’ll be supporting the installation of new vessel washdown and water filtering/ recycling facilities and helping to promote best practice in biosecurity across the waterway. It’s all about preventing the spread of invasive non-native species and other runoff such as anti foul to safeguard the waters we all rely on.

We’re excited to work alongside partners including:

Lawrenny Yacht Station

And a HUGE thank you to Pembrokeshire Maine SAC Officer Sue Burton for being the key in bringing this partnership together.

We’re delighted to announce that Pembrokeshire Boat Charters is launching relaxing 2-hour river cruises this summer in partnership with Rudders Boatyard
Perfect for families, first-time boaters, and anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, scenic experience on the water, these cruises take place in calm, sheltered waters and are accessible for wheelchair users.
What to expect:
Enjoy a peaceful journey along the beautiful upper reaches of the Cleddau Estuary, surrounded by tranquil scenery, fascinating wildlife, and local maritime history.
Departing from Burton, we head upriver past Benton Castle, Lawrenny and Llangwm, as far as Picton Point where the Cleddau splits east and west. We then return downriver, gliding beneath the impressive Cleddau Bridge before heading into the lively commercial port—where you might spot impressive LNG ships and other vessels in action.
This makes for a fun, safe, and memorable adventure for all ages.
You’ll be cruising aboard a stable catamaran, offering a smooth and comfortable ride, complete with a heated wheelhouse and onboard toilet facilities for your convenience.

Our Tidal Energy Test Platform is ready to head back out to the test site at Warrior Way tomorrow with an exciting new subsea system and prototype turbine.

This project is expected to last around 3 to 4 weeks.
