Forget Eurovision, this is where the real action was on Saturday!!
A great result from Paul Ricard for TLCS at the Sunday Ride Classic, where Steady and Ash put the GSXR1000K1 on the podium after 4 gruelling hours of day and night madness.
A truly brilliant result against a field of 60 of Europe's top Classic Endurance teams on some very fast bikes, with ex Grand-Prix riders and World Champions in the mix alongside many very talented young hot shots. Congrats to them and all the team including our talented techie team of Marko and Super Sophie. A top team effort.

Third meeting of 2026 Freetech Endurance went pretty well at Ellough Park (Norfolk). Friday was a 2 hour Sprint race which we won thanks to some great riding by Luke Hutchison and Tom Neave. Saturday was a bit more of a challenge - A ten hour (yes 10) endurance race involving about 35 teams including us, with 4 riders; Luke, George Bartle, Ben Booth and rapid regular Joe Holdsworth.
We got a flyer from the start and put in some great laps, but had problems all race with front grip and chatter issues. The light faded with about 30 minutes of the ten hours left to go, then the scheduled rain came with 15 minutes remaining. Luke pottered round on worn slicks for a few laps before crossing the line in a very creditable 5th place. This leaves us 2nd in the championship adrift by 2 points, with the next round on July 17th/18th at Whilton Mill. Congratulations to all the riders, and crew chaps Butch and Richard.

Second race of the season last Saturday (Darley Moor) and our first win! Congratulations to our riders Howard Burchnall, Joe Holdsworth and Tim Neave on a brilliant job, and well done to Butch and Richard for keeping it all going seamlessly. The weather was mental at times, it's the first time I've seen a race stopped because a portaloo has blown onto the track!! But a great result for the team and our Team Pharaoh GSXR125 performed faultlessly. Next round is a 9 hour (yes) race at Ellough Park in Norfolk on May 1/2nd. Should be interesting!

Massive congrats to Lincolnshire's Gary Johnson on his B and B supported GSXR750 who finished as top Brit rider at the recent Daytona 200 in the USA. Also great effort by Team Classic Suzuki and Danny Webb who qualified a brilliant top 10 but sadly had a DNF in the race. Great to see Suzuki at the sharp end mixing it with the Ducati hordes. Maybe we'll see the new GSXR1000R in action in World Endurance or MotoAmerica this year !

First race of the Freetech Endurance British Championship at Mallory Park went pretty well for team Pharaoh B and B. Racing the GSXR125 prepared beautifully by Jamie Lodge & Mark Francis and ridden by GP winner Alan Carter, Luke Hutchison and Joe Holdsworth, after 5 hours of manic action we got a rostrum finish on our first attempt! Just getting ready for the first round of 2025 at Paul Ricard (South of France). A lot of strong competition from some excellent teams. Our bike is the same as last year, and Ash and Steady are a great pairing, setting pole at Pau Arnos last year. Fingers crossed!

Congratulations to local lad and ex-Suzuki BSB rider Kyle Ryde on his awesome title win at Brands on Sunday. He really is a deserving winner and I am sure the whole racing community are pleased that the BSB title has gone to him. I've only met him once (see grainy video) when he did our 'Foot-up challenge' and he was such a nice fella and also set the best time of the day! Well done Youth!

Donington Park race report: Last round of the season and it all went really well, a great team effort and some class riding from Ash and Steady, we ended up 3rd in the our class and 7th overall. We were racing for 3 hours on our 2001 GSXR1000K1 against modern tackle (R1Ms, S1000RRs etc) so 7th is a great result. We were beaten in our class (1000cc bikes up to 2001) by 2 excellent teams: Team Classic Suzuki won with Richard Cooper and 2nd place finishers Phase One had ex-BSB star James Ellison so no shame in coming 3rd! Many thanks to all the extended team and supporters.
