CHRIS WARDS FUNERAL

Our dear friend Chris will be laid to rest on Tuesday the 11th of August at the Brightwater Green Burial Meadow at Saxby. As bikes were such a huge part of his life we would like to invite you to join us in es**rting him, please assemble at Italia Moto, 11.30am, we will ride out to meet the funeral procession and es**rt Chris to the burial meadow.

Insurance myths!

If your motorcycle or scooter has been damaged, you DO NOT have to use your insurance to get you out of that situation - the only reason you have to have insurance is to cover you, if you involve someone else in your accident.
However, if your motorcycle has been damaged by someone else, you can still use us to look after it for you.

Through using McAMS, we ensure that your motorcycle or scooter is collected and looked after by us, keeping you in control of your vehicle and saving you from paying excess or suffering a premium increase by using your insurance.

DISPELLING MYTHS AND RUMOURS!!

It has come to my attention that the school playground rumour mill has been rife with stories about Italia and our recent decision to part company with Ducati.
I would like to make it clear that Italia is not "going bust" we have not been "sacked" as a dealer, we do not "owe Ducati money that we cannot pay", that was a particular favourite, and we are definitely not closing down!
We have been passionate Ducatisti for decades not just a couple of years and have built up a huge customer base over those decades, many of whom still own their treasured Ducatis after many years.
In recent times it has been increasingly difficult to keep these classic and historical models maintained as we were so committed to the "new" bikes that our workshops were consistently booked, this will now change.
There are very few specialists in the UK that have our experience with looking after these bikes properly and we are looking forward to doing whatever we can to keep these bikes and their owners riding happily for many more years.
So to the rumours, we say if you want to know what is happening at Italia, just ask us, not some bloke who knows a bloke who heard from another bloke that someone at Italia has grown an extra head and so Ducati has had to sack them as it doesn't meet corporate standards!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

It is with a heavy heart that after twenty five years Italia Moto has decided that we are no longer continuing as a Ducati main dealer from July 2019.

This has been the most difficult decision that Phil has made in over thirty years in the motorcycle industry and one not taken lightly.

Italia has been and will continue to be a proud advocate for Ducati and we know they will continue to innovate and be at the forefront of motorcycle development and technology, just as they always have.

Ducati's future business strategy is different from ours and we feel that we are not able to follow this path, therefore it is time to change our relationship.

Looking to our future we would like to assure our loyal customers that we will continue as an independent Ducati specialist, concentrating on the vast back catalogue of bikes that we have been looking after for so many years. We will no longer be able to supply you with a brand new bike but we will always be able to look after your Ducati as we always have.

We would like to thank everyone that has joined us on our journey and reassure them that we will be continuing, albeit in a slightly different direction and one that will allow us to deliver even higher standards of the sort of customer care that you have been used to!
