A busy few days at the Barn,

Adam used the ramp to do a pre mot check and clean and paint the chassis on his Fiesta.
Pat also used the ramp to do the same on his Ranger. He also did some work on his T25. Jeff arrived on his beautiful Triumph it sounded fantastic. Damon and Pat borrowed the Barns fixed towbar and collected Damon's latest purchase, a nice looking Beetle. Tim did some more work on his Beetle and also found the loose wire in my dashboard in the camper. Jon came down with the Nascar. It needs an oil change and an exhaust swap. Mark popped in for an hour but failed to make brew 😄 Darren brought his Bay in and we did a part service on it. I would like to thank everyone at the Barn, we have a fantastic group of hobbyists that are all willing to help each.

A busy day at the barn started with rearranging some of the vans and beetles, thanks to Mark, Jeff, Pat and Damon for helping 👍🏼 Pat finished chopping the roof off the scrap t25, Tim helped Jeff set the valve spacings on his beetle, Tim had his beetle on the ramp to grease the steering box, Adam arrived and helped Tim with some jobs on his Green Beetle and I did a load of sanding on my van to help get it ready for a respray later this year 😊

Thursday evening saw a few of us from the barn head over to VW Heritage’s first-ever show at Great Northern Classics.

Myself, Nigel, Pat and Paul convoyed over together, and luckily the weather held out for the most part! 🌦️ It was a great evening with an awesome turnout, some seriously cool VWs and plenty of time to catch up with old friends and meet some new faces.

Of course, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a bit of drama… Nigel managed to make the ultimate rookie mistake and lock his keys inside his Doka! 🤦‍♂️ Thankfully, it didn’t spoil the evening and gave us all a good laugh!

Huge thanks to VW Heritage and Great Northern Classics for putting on a fantastic first event. Looking forward to the next one already!
