We love a Porsche 924 Turbo! We sold this example a couple of years ago and it’s back with us for some maintenance. Such a fun car to drive and the epitome of Seventies cool! 😎

It’s believed that there are only around 100 Porsche 924 Turbos left in the UK and not many are in such good condition as this one.

A classic Porsche 911 Targa is perfect for the summer sunshine. Increasingly, people only drive classic cars in good weather, so it makes sense to be able to remove the roof and enjoy the sun.

The 911 Targa dates back to 1965 and brought a whole new concept in open-top motoring. Back then, there were fears that convertible cars would be banned in the USA on safety grounds. The Targa’s distinctive roll hoop got around those fears and gave the 911 Targa a distinctive side profile.

The first 911 Targas combined the lift-out roof panel with a folding plastic rear window. A fixed glass rear window followed soon after, although the plastic version remained an option for some years.

The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Super Sport Targa is a rare and beautiful car. Just a handful of right hand drive examples were sold in the UK and this is one of them. Finished in Guards Red with wide Turbo wings, it really is a piece of automotive art. 😍

Here’s a sneak peek of a very special Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Supersport Targa which is coming back into stock soon.

It’s a Carrera 3.2 with the 911 Turbo’s wide wheel arches, front and rear spoilers, updated suspension, four-piston brake calipers, and 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels. It is essentially a Turbo without a Turbo engine. In fact, in the USA the model was known as the Turbo Look! The Supersport is also called the SSE, for Super Sport Equipment.

It is believed that just 15 right-hand drive Supersport Targas were produced, so this is a very rare Porsche, indeed. This stunning Guards Red example is the epitome of the 1980s and the naturally aspirated engine makes the car, arguably, easier to drive and less costly to maintain than a contemporary 911 Turbo.

We’re delighted to have been kindly sent photos of our Porsche 986 Boxster S 70th Anniversary car, on display on the Porsche stand at the NEC back in 2018, just after it had been built. A lovely addition to the car’s history.
