Say goodbye to that annoying clunk...

It's a given with 205 ownership that the rubber coating on your top mount cups probably left the building many years ago, or if you've had your top mounts powder coated you know the rubber is definitely gone and your fresh powder coat probably will be soon too!It's a small thing but one that bothered us for a while so we now have these replacement rubber buffers that fit snuggly over the cup, can be fitted very easily without stripping the whole suspension and stops that occasional contact getting you one step closer to that factory feel.

Available on the shop now...

Replacement rubbers for the top mount anti noise buffers. The top inverted cup of the top mounts came with a rubber coating which is often degraded or missing completely allowing the cup to contact the top mount plate. These replacement buffers fit snugly in place of the originals. Sold in pairs, we...

**205 GTi CUPHOLDERS**

We've been promising these for a while and after 40 years of owners spilling drinks between their legs, they're finally ready!

After many design iterations and extensive testing we're pleased to offer these 205 cup holders, designed to fit the phase 1.5 and 2 models these clip firmly in place of the coin tray with no tools, no screws, and no sticky pads, they just clip in and out while still allowing access to the cubby hole and causing no damage to your original trims.

Available on the website now in black or grey...

Scratch built custom loom in progress for this historic eligible 205 GTi rally car we're building to the new challenge spec.

It's rare we get to start from scratch. Modifying/repairing existing looms is a hateful job full of compromises - this, on the other hand, is my happy place...

We always like seeing multiple 205's out on events so it was nice to have Andy Hardiman and Rally Stig under the RR&R awning for the Argyll Rally with their 1.9 GTi. It was shaping up to be an epic battle between Andy and Paul Clayton after being seeded together at 94 and 95. Both convincingly outperformed their seedings and following the first 2 Friday stages only 1 sec separated them. They continued to trade seconds throughout the weekend but unfortunately a snapped clutch cable for Andy on the Friday night meant the overall battle was not to be. (No doubt they will both be in the comments quoting passages from the "book of driver excuses" πŸ‘‡πŸ» so get your popcorn ready!!!! 🍿😜)

Paul had a similarly close battle with Ricky Evans on the Severn Valley so with these group A cars being so close, hopefully we'll see even bigger battles play out properly next year in the Historic category of The Third Chapter of the 205 Challenge - more on that very shortly...

Great weekend on what is one of our favourite events of the year the Argyll Rally . Thank you Dunoon, you were amazing. πŸ™πŸ»

The weather added another element this year, torrential rain which stopped and was drying out before the Friday stages made tyre choice the talk of the service area although I think most played it safe on full wets in the end. The Fedima Rally Tyres wets held up amazingly and combined with the new Proflex UK suspension meant Paul and Veera were putting in some cracking times on Friday climbing from a seeding of 94 up to 53rd overnight despite Eric taking a telegraph pole to the face.

A bit of fine adjustment of the bodywork and a tweak on the tracking in the early hours had Eric ready for the full day of Saturday stages, Paul this time opting for super soft Fedima slicks all round. They continued to climb the leaderboard throughout the day coming home in 47th and more points in both British Historic championships.

One of the best events of the year in our opinion, well organised, compact route but with good mileage and a backdrop to die for.

A bit of work to do before ethe next one to straighten him out but we'll be ready to go again soon.

**Next up, Peugeot 205/309 Group A bias pedal boxes. **

We have so many development parts on the go right now it's hard to keep up! Here's another one that's just coming to fruition. This copy of a PTS pedal box was fabricated by hand for a customer from an original we have but we took the opportunity along the way to make all the templates and jigs so we can carry out the conversion to order. The only change we've made was beefing the main box up to 3mm because the original 2mm bends like crazy!

We’ve just added some brand new parts to the store β€” and these are only the first of many! πŸ‘Œ

To help fill some of the gaps in the smaller components that are often too niche to reproduce in large quantities, we’ve invested in our own in-house design and 3D printing capabilities.

After a long period of design iterations, testing, and refinement, the first few products are now live on the store. We already have a long list of further parts in various stages of development, so this is just another small step in our much bigger mission to make all Peugeot 205 parts available new again.

The first products now available are:
>>> Fuel pump covers
>>> Fuel level sender covers
>>> Fuse box retaining clips

Available now on the store:

Have any suggestions for us to add to our list??? Let us know in the comments! πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
