Common on BMW, Mercedes, MINI and other premium vehicles, run-flats allow you to keep moving after a puncture, but only within limits.

Key things to know:
• Typically limited to 50mph for up to 50 miles after a puncture
• Many cannot be safely repaired once driven flat
