Unfortunately, during the migration, we’ve discovered that some of the data relating to MOT and service reminders hasn’t come across as it should. 😬

So, if you’re usually relying on us to remind you when your MOT or service is due, please take a moment to check your own records and get in touch to book if you’re due soon! 📅

We’d hate for anyone to miss their MOT date because of a computer having a bit of a wobble! 🤦‍♂️😂

🍂 AUTUMN EQUINOX… APPARENTLY WE ALL NEED A SERVICE TOO! 🧘‍♂️🔧

So tonight I went along to a yoga and meditation session for the Autumn Equinox.

Yes… RPMotors has apparently gone all spiritual. 😂

There was lots of talk about getting yourself back into balance, getting everything aligned and tuning your body in with the universe.

And, obviously, because I’m a mechanic, my brain immediately went:

“Sounds like a tracking problem to me.” 🤣

Think about it…

A car can have a fantastic engine, but if the timing is out, the mixture isn’t right, the wheels aren’t aligned or something is dragging, it doesn’t run properly.

Same with us.

If we’re running on empty, stressed, doing too much, getting no downtime and ignoring all the warning lights… eventually something’s going to start making a funny noise. 😂

Sometimes you don’t need a complete rebuild.

You just need to stop, breathe, check what’s out of line and make a few adjustments.

Basically, the human equivalent of bringing your car into RPMotors and saying:

“It’s making a strange noise, but only when I’m stressed.” 😂

Maybe that’s the real lesson from tonight:

🔧 Look after yourself
⚙️ Keep everything working together
🛞 Stay aligned
🚨 Don’t ignore the warning lights
🧘‍♂️ And occasionally… take your foot off the accelerator!

Whether it’s your car or yourself, everything works better when it’s properly maintained and running in harmony.

Although thankfully, unlike a car, you don’t need an MOT every year…

…although some of us probably wouldn’t pass! 😂

🔧 WE’RE LEARNING SOMETHING NEW! 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

We’ve been busy behind the scenes over the last few weeks implementing a new garage management system at RPMotors.

Over the last 3 days we’ve had onsite training, getting to grips with the new system and making the changes needed to suit the way we work.

As you can imagine, there have been a few teething issues, changes and plenty of head-scratching moments! 😂

So, please bear with us over the next few weeks. If you call us and we sound like we haven’t got a clue what we’re doing… we probably don’t! 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

Rest assured, we have a dedicated technical support team on hand whenever we need them, so we can get any issues resolved and keep everything running smoothly.

The new system should ultimately help us improve how we manage bookings, vehicle updates, communication and the overall service we provide to you.

A massive thank you to all our customers for your continued support and patience while we get everything up and running. ❤️

Please note that Rahul and two members of our team will be on annual leave on Friday 7th August 2026.

✅ All vehicles already booked in for Friday will be completed as planned.

However, our office will be closed, so phones and emails will not be monitored until Monday 10th August 2026.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
