Hello everyone.

In light of the recent announcement, Steertrak would like to thank you for your continued support.

We would like to let you know that Steertrak is still operational and serving the needs of our customers, as key workers, in the transport sector.

We are following all Government and PHE guidelines in relation to social distancing in the workplace. Alongside our usual Safecontractor accreditation we have also put in place contact free procedures regards key handover and paperwork.

If you are concerned about limited space in your workshop due to social distancing - then we can work in safe spaces in the yard or nearby.

If your driver has steering issues but you cannot afford the time to take that vehicle off the road - we can meet the driver when on a rest break.

If you are low on your own mechanic resources - we routinely supply and fit steering related parts - so can come and help you with this.

The joys of getting a hydraulic rear steer to line up to the front!
After spending some time removing, re fitting and adjusting various components, the wheels just wouldn’t line up, and stayed in this position illustrated in the picture. Anyway after some time we found a very simple problem. 🤨 When the hydraulic steering ram had been fitted the night before, nobody put any fluid into it! Well that would help wouldn’t it!....
