Our client's 1999 Ski Nautique bilge is all cleaned up and ready for the prep work for the new engine install! Today, it'll get new control cables, a new steering cable, a new water intake hose, a new depth finder transducer, etc. -- all the stuff that's way easier to install with the engine out.

Our client's 2000 Super Air Nautique had its decals and pinstripes removed today, along with its crazy backwards-mounted aftermarket tower. It's getting a proper Flight Control Tower installed in its place.

The tower has been removed from our client's 2006 Air Nautique 216 and is off to powder coat. It'll be looking great again soon!

Another windshield frame ready for powder coat. This one is from our client's 2006 Air Nautique 216. We're doing a color change on this one (silver to black), and it is going to look great!

Our client's 2006 Air Nautique 216 is almost completely stripped down now. The tower came off yesterday and the windshield comes off today, and then the gelcoat work starts.

Today, we pause to honor one of the all-time greats. Frank was the very first employee hired by Silver Cove Marine. More than that, he was a great friend. We, his "boat buddies" from the Boys Boat Club, paid tribute to him on Saturday with a display of the boats that he loved at his memorial service. He had a hand in working on many of these boats. We will all miss our friend.

Another gateway bypass and gauge replacement was just completed on our client's 2006 Air Nautique 216. We've been doing dashboard work on numerous vessels lately. We love these boats!

The windshield for our client's 1999 Ski Nautique is all set to go back on! We disassembled it, powder coated the frame, and reassembled it. We also powder coated the vent covers, platform brackets, and rub rail cover.

Hard to believe (not really) that this 20-year-old original Excalibur oil pan was leaking! We see this quite often, but this is one of the worst we've seen. The bilge of this boat was a lake of oil. New pan is installed now, along with a new oil drain kit. Lots of other engine maintenance was also completed while the engine was out, and it is just about ready to go back into the boat now.
