The three MOST important questions to ask about winterizing:

1: Are you insured and cleared to work in my marina? Just for reference Safe Harbor Properties are a hurdle that costs big insurance money just to have access (We are insured and credentialed for all safe harbor marinas on LKN)

2) Does your winterization include a spring startup at no additional cost? (Ours does)

And 3) When you get advice on winterizing from your dockmates or Facebook/Youtube: Will they accept the liability and oay the bill should something go amiss? (We will)

With the waters and debris as they are and there is a ALOT of runoff silt? Its even more important to watch and clean those AC strainers if your runs 24/7. This one was last serviced 2 months ago and it was seriously time or there would have been an HPF code and shut down. Let us know if we can help. Call or Text. 704-287-3914

We are open Saturdays from 8-12.

Ok somewhere a local weather guy/gal is using the term REALLY COLD for this weekend. Lets calm the panic Im posting the local area trend. Colder? Yes, big difference? Yes. REALLY COLD? No. Boats are safe until it gets to 25 or below for multiple nights NOT getting over 40 in the day.

We see this from time to time. Someone in the past has done some wiring and left insulation pieces or ziptie tails in the bilge to float around until a pump sucks it in.

Keeping the float switch from working when you REALLY need it... Free tip of the day! Clean the bilge! And keep the boat afloat!
