Want to feel more confident about keeping kids safe in the car?
**CPS Basics Foundational Training** offers practical, hands-on education for anyone who wants to learn more about choosing, installing, and using car seats correctly and safely.
Our next two classes are coming up soon on August 17 and again on August 21.
The training is open to **anyone interested in child passenger safety**—including parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members. It can be especially valuable for professionals who transport children or work with children and families, such as:
• Childcare providers and daycare transportation staff
• Social workers and child welfare professionals
• Law enforcement officers
• Public health and healthcare professionals
• Educators and community organizations
Led by a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), CPS Basics provides useful, real-world information you can put into practice when transporting children or helping families make safer choices.
**There is no cost to attend**, and trainings are offered throughout Indiana. Participants will also receive a **Certificate of Completion**.
Whether you transport children every day for work, occasionally drive a grandchild, or simply want to know more about keeping kids safe on the road, **you are welcome to attend.**
