Maybe there's hope after all.... An 11 year old Boy keeps coming here consistently looking for "work". Not looking for a free handout. Because He wants a new fishing pole. Well He swept my office floor with a broom as agreed. And did a very good job! Today he has a brand new rod and reel, hooks, weights, bobber and fresh night crawlers. Because He worked for it. And He's excited smiling ear to ear, and proud of himself, as he should be. I'm impressed! 🙂

I've given it a great deal of thought. It's very hard to do when you're self employed, not knowing what you will come back too. Not knowing if the bills will be paid. It's been "((almost five years))" since I've taken a vacation. I'm not getting any younger and tomorrow isn't promised. I really do need a break, "mentally"and "physically". Thankyou! I'll be back rested and ready after next week.

It's so hard to believe how fast the years have passed... It's been over 8 years since I lifted that garage door and pulled my first car in the shop for a repair. I have to say it's been a very heart warming experience. I've never met so many amazing people. I truly have fallen deeply in love with Concord. I'm extremely grateful. All the beautiful gestures, people bring me water, food, pies, candles for my office, coffee. What shop can just call a customer and ask for help pushing a car in the shop? Or help me lift a heavy part? Only in Concord! I hope you all have a great week!
