Do we clean Oneboxes? Yes we do. The older, Detroit 2 DPF Oneboxes like this one pictured or newer, single DPF Oneboxes. We also clean the Volvo Oneboxes as well.

As a reminder, if you do your regular DPF maintenance cleanings for your Onebox, there is a significantly less chance you will have to get the entire Onebox cleaned later on like this customer. Most semis are recommended to have the DPFs cleaned around every 250,000 miles.

Don’t wait until the emissions codes show up and your truck is put into derate and you are down a couple of days. Those down days will cost you much more $$$ than the cost of a maintenance DPF cleaning.

Busy day and a full kiln.

Cummins X15 DPF and DOC.

John Deere DPF and DOC. DPF was cracked and face plugged. Spec was 2.1-2.6 in/hg and pegged out at over 60 in/hg. DPF was not viable to be cleaned but the DOC was saved.

Cleaning intervals depend on vehicle usage, engine condition, operating habits, and manufacturer recommendations. Your filter may require more frequent service due to things like excessive idling, short trips, and heavy soot buildup.

As a general guideline:
🚛 Highway trucks: Every 200,000–300,000 miles
🏙️ City & delivery vehicles: Every 50,000–100,000 miles
