Super Logging Super-Liner - this is one special Mack - marking a new era for Mack in logging!

The rain at this handover in Rotorua, did not dampen the day for AKM Trucking owner Andre Mansell. The 700hp 8x4 17 L Super-Liner is the first in New Zealand and the first for a logging application. Named 'Hungry Like the Wolf', this is the sixth Mack and the second Super-Liner in Andre's Gisborne-based heavy transport logging fleet.

This highly spec'ed unit features the MP11 17 litre engine, crawler gears, a specially designed Super-Liner King Bar and new cab suspension. Check out the bonnet with newly designed LED headlights.

The livery of this Mack is a real stand-out with a unique koru fern design. On the inside of the cab, the new Mack Gear Selector has been mounted to the left-hand side of the drivers seat for increased power and control at the operator's fingertips.

We can't wait to see this fine looking unit fully loaded and in the forests of Poverty Bay.

Mack is right at home with big rigs and country music.

Mack had a great showing at the Gore Truck Show from the newest trucks to some fantastic vintage classics. Thanks to all the drivers that continue to show off their MackTruck proudly.

Nick Young from Southern Transport Co. Limited, who once again took home the Cranleigh Haulage Trophy for Best Mack, this time with their new 8x4 Mack Anthem.

Mack Trucks' Waikato service agent, Truckstops Hamilton, have been operating out of their new super large premises in Ruakura Superhub. The site was officially opened this month with a special industry event and formal karakia blessing led by mana whenua. Special thanks to Tainui Group Holdings.

The new facility is triple the size of the previous site and includes a Mack Truck showroom and expanded workshop with increased parts capacity and additional service bays and COF lanes. Heavy transport operators of the region are benefitting from increased capacity, improved turnaround times and the convenient location, just 600 metres from State Highway 1.

High horsepower for heavy house hauling.

Troy and Vanessa Eitting of EasyMoves Ltd in West Auckland, have had this new Mack Super-Liner 6x4 tractor unit, with MP11 780hp Euro engine, custom-rigged for house moving and rated for 130 tonne.

'Easy Does It' has already started work moving buildings across the North Island in some unique locations, helped by the XHD 14-speed crawler transmission.

Troy also chose the new Mack Gear Selector, which has been mounted to the left-hand side of the drivers seat - this one-piece drive shaft allows for extra chassis space on a short wheelbase. Troy is happy with the new cab suspension coil-over set-up giving a very smooth and controlled ride.
