こちらのダッジ・チャレンジャーが良い例です。オーナー様はイベントに向けて少し捻りを加えた外見にしたかったものの、ボディカラーの「デストロイヤーグレー」を変更する意思はありませんでした。チャレンジャー自体が日本では決して多くない中、この「デストロイヤーグレー」はその中でも希少なカラーなのでその選択は正しいものだと思います。
そこで、今回はグロスブラックのダブルレーシングストライプをベースに、オーナー様のご希望に合わせて両脇にオレンジの細いストライプを2本追加。純正の状態からは大きな変更ではありませんが、車種にマッチしたより個性的な印象に仕上がりました。キーケースやサイドマーカーに近い色相にすることで、さりげなく全体の統一感も演出しています。
時には大きな変化よりも、細部へのこだわりがクルマの印象を大きく変えるものです。

Wrapping is an effective way to change the impression of your car, but it’s also a great way to add special touches without giving it a full makeover.
Take this Dodge Challenger for example. The owner wanted to give it a new look for an upcoming event, but didn’t want to entirely change the Destroyer Grey color. We’d be inclined to do the same, not least of which because the name of the color is fantastic, but it’s also a surprisingly rare color in Japan for Challengers, though Challengers aren’t that common to begin with.
So we went with dual racing stripes in gloss black and gave it an accent with 2 thinner stripes in orange running alongside it as per the owner’s requests. It’s not a big change from stock, but it definitely gives it a bit more personality especially with the similar color on the key cover.
Sometimes, it’s the details that count.

Whether it’s your daily driver or weekend cruiser, a cracked windshield is not the most ideal situation to say the least. Aside from the obvious safety concerns, it’s often a more costly repair than you’d think especially on modern cars with their sensors and cameras.
That’s where windshield protection film (WPF) comes in. It’s the same basic idea as PPF, putting a physical barrier to protect what’s underneath the film, but it’s even stronger than PPF to withstand the friction from the wipers whilst being clear enough to be safe for driving. This Lamborghini Huracan came in to our shop right after getting its windshield replaced, which was the perfect opportunity to minimize the chances of a 2nd replacement.

It may be hard to imagine now, but there was a time when the answer to anyone who wanted practicality in their cars were station wagons. The SUVs were only reserved for those who needed to be able to go off-road and they cost more in most situations, so there wasn’t much demand for them. The script has been flipped upside down these days and not only is the station wagon a minority, but a rarity. The SUV has become the choice of those who want their car to be capable of everything, even if they’re not going to use that capability (especially the off-roading aspect).
But that gave the station wagon a dedicated fanbase. There’s a good chance that car enthusiasts given would choose the station wagon instead of an SUV if they consist of the same key components because they handle better, cost less to run, and they preferred the look of the stretched roof line on a slimmer body. It’s no wonder that they’re still around in Europe and especially among the German manufacturers who make performance variants.

軽量なボディ、素直で応答性の高いシャシー、FRレイアウト、そして公道の制限速度内でも充分に楽しめる絶妙なパワー。その単純な構成こそがこのクルマの魅力です。ロードスターは世界中の車文化における象徴的な存在であり、他メーカーがオープンスポーツを発売すると「〜版ロードスター」と評されることも珍しくありません。また、楽しい足車から本格的なサーキット仕様、更にはドリフト入門車まで、オーナーの好みのスタイルへ仕上げることができます。
それを考慮すると、今回の車両のようなフルノーマルの個体は珍しいものです。しかし、純正の仕上がりを台無しにしないように改造するのは難しいことです。というのも、この一台は希少な「35周年記念車」。専用色の「アーティザンレッド」をまとい、電動格納式ハードトップを備えるRFモデルです。更に、ND型の累計生産台数が25万台を超える中で、35周年記念車は世界で約1,000台のみという非常に希少な存在でもあります。
ここまで完成度の高い一台であれば改造する理由はありませんし、オーナー様がこの美しい状態で維持したいと考えられたのも自然なことです。そこで今回は、ボディの艶を保ちながら飛び石や細かな傷から塗装を守るグロスPPFを施工しました。美しいコンディションを維持しつつ、本来の姿のまま心配せずドライブを楽しんでいただけます。

There’s plenty of arguments to be made about sports cars and their place in the world, but the Mazda Roadster (or the MX-5 Miata) is the the most convincing reason to keep them around.
It’s a simple recipe of a lightweight body, responsive chassis, RWD, and just enough power to have fun while being under the speed limit. It’s such a cornerstone of car culture that when other manufacturers come out with their convertibles, it’s fairly common for them described as “their version of a Miata”. And when it comes to modifying, there are more than enough ways to make it your own. Anything from a fun daily driver, to a track special, to an entry-drift car can be made from this platform.
This example hasn’t been modified so far, but you’d have to be very careful to not ruin it. It’s a 35th Anniversary Edition which gives it the Artisan Red body color, it’s an RF which means it has a folding metal roof, and there’s only 1,000 of them which makes them very rare among the 250,000 cars of the ND-generation that’s been produced. We wouldn’t force anyone to modify this because it looks so complete as is. So it’s understandable that the owner wanted to keep it beautiful and spotless, which is why we applied our gloss PPF to make sure it stays that way and it gives some breathing room to drive it as it was made to.

EVが自動車業界の大きな存在になるという考えは、少し前までは楽観的な未来予想図のように捉えられていました。しかし、現在では最大勢力とは言えないまでも、ニッチなカテゴリーとは程遠いことは間違いありません。
その流れを最も強く牽引しているのが「テスラ・モデルY」です。信じがたいかもしれませんが、このモデルは2023年にフォードのFシリーズやトヨタ・カローラを抑え、世界で最も販売された車となりました。都市部では特によく見かける一台ですが、それでもこの販売実績には驚かされます。
とはいえ、これほど多く走るモデルだからこそ、この最新の3列シート仕様「モデルY L」であっても個性を演出するのは簡単ではありません。勿論そのままでも十分魅力的ですが、せっかく最新モデルを選ぶのであれば少し違った存在感を楽しむのも悪くありません。
そこでこちらの車両にはマットPPFを施工しました。純正カラーの「ステルスグレー」を活かしながら、派手すぎず同時に周囲に溶け込まない個性的な仕上がりを実現しています。「ステルス」というには独特な雰囲気を持ちすぎたかもしれませんが。

It wasn’t too long ago that the idea of EVs becoming a major factor in the auto industry wasn’t much more than an optimistic view of the future. And while it still isn’t the biggest, there’s no doubt that EVs are not the niche category it once was.
Leading that charge is the Tesla Model Y. While it may be hard to believe, this was actually the best-selling car in the world in 2023, beating out cars like the Ford F-Series trucks and the Toyota Corolla. You’d see them on the road all the time, especially in built-up areas, but even then it’s hard to get your head around the data.
With that being said, that does make standing out in it rather difficult even if it’s the latest 3-row Model Y L like this one. Perhaps it’s not a bad thing for some, but if you have the latest and greatest, there’s no harm in being a bit different. That’s why this example had our Matte PPF applied and it’s definitely a welcome change to make sure it doesn’t blend in. While the paint is called “Stealth Grey”, maybe it’s not as stealth as it used to be for all the right reasons.

その思想を強く体現しているのが、このEK9型の「シビック・タイプR」です。ハッチバックならではの実用性を備えながらも、その本質はドライバーのためにあります。B16Bエンジンは8,400回転のレッドライン近くまで回してこそ真価を発揮し、高回転域で最大トルクと最高出力を生み出します。名機と称される5速MTには操作がより一層楽しめるようにチタン製シフトノブがあしらわれ、そして軽量なボディが組み合わさることでコーナーでは格別のドライビングフィールを味わうことができます。
そんな一台だからこそ、その走りにふさわしい美しい姿であってほしいものです。今回、当店での研磨作業と@gtechniq_japanの「Crystal Serum Light」を施工したことで、チャンピオンシップホワイトのボディは更に深みのある艶をまとい、優れた保護性能とともにその魅力を一層引き立てています。

The “Type R” moniker is a rare breed these days. Unlike other performance badges, it hasn’t been frantically slapped on to SUVs or become diluted to be more appealing to a wider audience. At most, it was only on 3 models at any given time, and if the standard models were built with practicality in mind, the Type Rs would give it a lower priority to say the least. It was made for the person behind the wheel and the other seats were there to pull others into the experience if they chose to ride along.
This EK9 Civic Type R is a prime example of that. It’s surprisingly practical with the hatchback body, but it’s meant to be the best for the one behind the wheel. The B16B needs to be revved out to wake up because it produces both its maximum torque and power less than 1000rpm short of the 8400 rpm redline. The 5-speed manual is renowned to be one of the best in a hot-hatch, complimented by the titanium shift k**b, and the lightweight body made it a joy around the corners.
So it’s a no-brainer to want the outside to match the driving experience. And after our color correction and Crystal Serum Light ceramic coating by , this example wears its Championship White color and its enhanced gloss and protection beautifully. Diluted, this is not.

When a car bears someone’s name, it’s usually a sign of how significant it is to the manufacturer.
In the case of this Mini John Cooper Works GP, “John Cooper” refers to the British racing car designer who turned the humble economy car into a motorsport icon back in the 1960s. It was because of him that a high-output Cooper S model became a 3-time winner of the famous Monte Carlo rally.
This 2nd-generation example underwent a full color-correction and Magnite applied in collaboration with our friend from Hong Kong at . Even though it’s over 10 years-old, the Thunder Grey Metallic paint looks as if it rolled off the factory only moments ago. And if it’s going to carry the legacy of someone as great as John Cooper, that is well worth the work.

この「MINI John Cooper Works GP」の「ジョン・クーパー」とは、1960年代に画期的だった小型大衆車のMINIをモータースポーツのアイコンへと押し上げた、英国のレーシングカー・デザイナーの名です。彼の手によって誕生した高性能モデル「クーパーS」は、名高いモンテカルロ・ラリーで3度の総合優勝という偉業を成し遂げました。

トヨタは長年にわたり高い信頼性を誇るクルマづくりで知られていますが、その象徴ともいえる存在がこの「ランドクルーザー」です。
多くのライバル車と同様に軍用車両をルーツに持ち、当初はあらゆる地形を走破する実用車として誕生しました。初期プロトタイプのテストでは、開発ドライバーが富士山の六合目まで走行したという逸話も残されており、その卓越した走破性能を物語っています。
最新モデルの一つであるこの「250」シリーズは、「プラド」の後継モデルとして登場。新開発のシャシーやサスペンション、電動パワーステアリングをはじめ、走行性能を左右するほぼ全ての要素が刷新され、これまで以上に高いオフロード性能と快適性を実現しています。一方で、圧倒的な耐久性と信頼性を誇る2TR-FEエンジンは継続採用され、その選択にトヨタが何に重きを置いてこのクルマを開発したのかが感じられます。

Toyota has always been known for its reliable cars, but perhaps no other model in its lineup embraces that more than the Land Cruiser.
Like many of its rivals, it was born from a military background and started out as a no-nonsense utility vehicle to go anywhere. In the case of the Land Cruiser, one of its test drivers drove one of the first prototypes up to the sixth stage of Mount Fuji, so safe to say it it was a capable car.
This latest “250” model is the replacement for the “Prado” nameplate and has been reengineered substantially to be more capable than ever. A new chassis, new suspension, new power steering, and nearly everything that dictates how the car behaves has been changed. The only thing that isn’t completely new is the 2TR-FE engine that was kept for its bulletproof reliability.
So it’s more than worthwhile to make sure that the brand-new exterior is also going to stay looking that way. After our meticulous polishing process, this example was coated with the Crystal Serum Light. It has fantastic protective qualities against UV rays, highly acidic substances, and general contaminants while providing additional depth to the color and making it easier to clean with the hydrophobic qualities of the EXOv5 on top of it. If your car can run forever, why not make sure that it’ll look the same while doing so?

多くの人にとってベントレーは高級感や華やかさの象徴として知られていますが、実はモータースポーツにおいても長い歴史を持つブランドです。創業者W.O.ベントレーは熱心なレーサーであり、レースを自らのクルマを開発し、その魅力を世に伝える手段と考えていました。途中には長い沈黙の時代がありながらも、ベントレーは2003年のル・マン24時間レースで総合優勝を果たし、その後も数々の勝利を収めたGT3マシンを送り出しています。
そのGT3マシンのベースとなったのが、このコンチネンタルGTです。もちろんレーシングカーは大幅な軽量化をはじめとする大規模な改造が施されていますが、このロードカーも決して侮れない存在です。6リッター・ツインターボW12エンジンを搭載し、車重2.2トンという堂々たるボディをものともせず、多くのスポーツカーを置き去りにする圧倒的なパフォーマンスを発揮します。ただ、その多くのスポーツカーとは違って置き去りにするような速度で走っていることさえ気づかないほど快適なのが違いです。
今回は当店の研磨作業およびセラミックコーティングを施工し、その美しいボディは車両に秘められた卓越した技術にふさわしい輝きを取り戻しました。五つ星ホテルのエントランスに佇む姿も、開けたワインディングや高速道路を駆け抜ける姿も絵になるコンチネンタルGT。ラグジュアリーとパフォーマンスは決して相反するものではない——そんなベントレーの哲学を体現する一台です。

Although most people associate Bentley with luxury and opulence, and rightfully so, it actually has a long history in motorsports. Its founder was an avid racer who saw it as a way to develop and publicize the cars he built, and even though there was a long period of silence, Bentley came back with an overall win at Le Mans in 2003 and a GT3 car with more than a few wins under its belt.
That GT3 car was based on this; the Continental GT. Admittedly, the race car is a very heavily modified version of this car (mostly for weight saving) but this road-going version isn’t exactly a slouch either. It has a 6-Liter twin-turbo W12 after all, so even though it weighs 2.2-tonnes, it can turn a lot of cars on the road into a dot in your mirrors. The only difference is that because of how comfortable it is, you wouldn’t notice that you were going fast enough to do that at all.
This particular example has gone through our full paint correction and ceramic coating treatment, and now its paint looks every bit as special as the engineering beneath it. Whether parked outside a five-star hotel or stretching its legs on an open road, this Continental GT is a reminder that luxury and performance don't have to be mutually exclusive.
