Working off the back of the upgraded parts we have been developing, and manufacturing, for both Triumph MX & World Enduro teams, we have been helping UK rider Rob Ward build one of four Triumph TF450-E models in readiness for him and 3 friends entries in the Real Way to Dakar, January 2027.
Rob needed a Rally Tower, to mount all the navigation and safety equipment, so the young guys here at Rally Raid 3D scanned the front of the new Triumph, then designed & 3D printed new mounts so that an existing One Adventure Tower for a Honda CRF450RX could be made to fit, as our Portuguese supplier had not been able to source a TF450-E at present.
Rob will be using the DMD Nor7E as an electronic GPS & Roadbook, operated from the left handlebar by their Remote Toggle Switch.
He is also fitting our "factory" upgrades, Top Shock Bolt, Rear Brake Pivot and Side Stand Bolt, to make servicing and maintaining the bike easier over the 12 day, and 5,000km Rally.
Rob has his own fabrication business, and has manufactured his own design of 13 litre rear alloy tank, along with the Acerbis 12 litre plastic front tank, to achieve the fuel capacity to cover the long desert crossings.
