Full suspension and steering refresh, new engine support bar and exhaust, alignment and some electrical upgrades for Mr S’s awesome 1971 Early bay. Great fun bus to drive now.

This was a fun one this week…
Fuel supply issues…as in there was no fuel coming through. After blowing through the line to the tank, eventually something moved and allowed a little fuel to come through and it wasn’t a great sight. After a few filters we managed to pump out the tank, pull the engine and remove the tank which unsurprisingly didn’t look great inside. Next we worked through the rest of the fuel system, cleaning and priming the fuel pump, replacing all the fuel lines, stripping and cleaning/ rebuilding the carb etc and replacing the tank with a new one, new filler neck/ sender/ seals etc.

Another recommision job on T’s 1972 RHD baywindow camper. We fitted a new loom T supplied from Iain Burns, and then worked our way through all the electrical components that didn’t work…rear lamp units held together with tinfoil and aluminium tape, split charge relay, dash panel, horn, battery, upside down bulbs in headlamps, seized washer pump, stuck relays, etc. before working through a basic service on the running gear, fuel lines, and brake service.
