1967 MGB GT Mk1 - Riviera Blue/Restored Fast Road Spec/Overdrive

The MGB GT is a classic British sports car produced by the British Motor Corporation and subsequently British Leyland between 1965 and 1980. Designed by Pininfarina, the GT was introduced in October 1965, bringing elegant Italian-influenced styling to the practicality of a sporting hatchback. With its distinctive rear roofline, 2+2 seating arrangement and useful luggage space, it offered an appealing alternative to the traditional open-top sports car, combining everyday usability with the engaging driving experience for which the MGB became so well regarded.

Milestone Classics are delighted to present this particularly attractive 1967 MGB GT Mk1, finished in Riviera Blue with a contrasting black interior. Benefiting from a comprehensive professional restoration and a carefully developed fast road specification, this is a BGT that offers considerably more than just classic good looks. The combination of its period styling, mechanical upgrades and extensive supporting history makes it an appealing proposition for anyone seeking a classic MG that can be enjoyed on today's roads.

The car was the subject of a full professional rebuild in 1997 by Hugh Finney of Classic & Vintage Restoration Services. The restoration included a respray in Riviera Blue, a colour that suits the MGB GT's elegant proportions particularly well and gives the car a strong presence. The bodywork and paintwork have continued to present well, reflecting the quality of the original work and the subsequent care invested in maintaining the car.

Under the bonnet, the five-bearing engine was reconditioned and upgraded with a Stage 2 cylinder head and fast road camshaft, providing a more purposeful driving experience while retaining the character of the familiar B-series engine. The overdrive gearbox was also reconditioned, making the car well suited to longer journeys as well as enjoyable country-road driving.

Considerable attention was paid to the chassis, suspension and supporting mechanical components during the rebuild and subsequent ownership. The specification includes Koni dampers, Hoyle Engineering rear suspension with disc brakes, and RV8 front suspension, which has received a more recent overhaul. The cooling system benefits from a high-performance aluminium radiator and Kenlowe electric fan, while the electrical system was comprehensively refurbished as part of the restoration, including the fitting of electronic ignition and an alternator. Replacement MG Owners' Club carpets and interior trim further complement the car's presentation.

Importantly, this MGB GT has continued to benefit from regular maintenance and ongoing investment since the restoration. A substantial collection of invoices documents work undertaken by successive owners, including servicing, replacement components and general upkeep. Rather than simply relying on its restoration history, the paperwork helps demonstrate the continued attention given to keeping the car in the condition it enjoys today.

The history file is particularly appealing to the enthusiast. It includes the original buff log book from new, together with V5 documentation recording the first owner and seven subsequent keepers, with only the fourth keeper missing from the surviving sequence. The car has had eight previous owners in total, and the paperwork provides a valuable record of its ownership over the years. MOT certificates dating back to 1996 add further historical interest, while old tax discs and a Haynes workshop manual complete the collection of period and practical documentation.

The Porsche Boxster, introduced in 1996, marked an important chapter in Porsche’s history, bringing the marque’s traditional mid-engined sports car layout to a modern roadster designed to deliver an engaging driving experience with everyday usability. By 2002, the Boxster S had established itself as a particularly appealing model, combining a larger 3.2-litre flat-six engine with the unmistakable styling and balance for which Porsche is renowned.

Presented in Meridian Metallic Silver with a black hood and black interior, this 2002 Porsche Boxster S is an exceptionally low-mileage example, having covered just over 20,000 miles from new. With its desirable specification, comprehensive history and original purchase documentation, this is a particularly interesting car for anyone seeking a well-preserved modern classic from Stuttgart.

First registered in 2002, this Boxster S is powered by the 3,200cc flat-six engine, paired with the Tiptronic S automatic transmission, offering a rewarding blend of performance and relaxed open-top motoring. The car was originally ordered by Mrs Venables, who specified a number of desirable factory options totalling over £7,000, a considerable investment at the time. The original order invoice remains with the car, providing a wonderful insight into its specification from new. The specification includes Meridian Metallic Silver paintwork, a Meridian Metallic and black hood, full leather Graphite Grey sports seats, Litronic headlights with headlight cleaning system, Porsche crest-embossed headrests and 18-inch Sport Design alloy wheels with coloured wheel centres. The Tiptronic S transmission completes a specification that makes this Boxster S particularly well equipped.

The mileage is one of the car's most notable features, with recorded readings of 14,031 miles in 2022, 16,569 miles in March 2024 and 18,444 miles in March 2025. The current mileage stands at just over 20,000 miles, supported by a substantial collection of MOT history and associated documentation.

The ownership history is equally well documented. Mrs Venables acquired the Porsche new in 2002 and retained it until 2020, before Mr Venables took ownership until 2021. Mr Forsyth followed in 2021, keeping the car until 2022, after which it passed to Mr France. In 2025, the Porsche returned to Mr Forsyth, who remains the current owner. Although the car has had five registered keepers, one owner has enjoyed it on two separate occasions, providing an interesting continuity to its history.

Accompanying the car is the original Porsche leather booklet holder, containing the driver's manual and maintenance record, which is stamped up to 2025 and includes the original first owner's details. The history file also contains the original factory order invoice, V5 documentation and a wealth of MOT records, together with evidence of regular servicing, maintenance and professional deep cleaning and detailing. A hardback book covering the Porsche Boxster range and the original stereo owner's manual are also included.

Maintenance has continued in recent years, with work carried out by Porsche Perth Limited in 2025, including the replacement of the front brake discs and pads, a sensor and the radio front panel, alongside various other items. More recently, the headlight washers have been replaced, and the car benefits from an MOT valid until March 2027.

Combining its exceptionally low mileage, attractive factory specification, automatic transmission and excellent documentary history, this Boxster S represents an appealing opportunity to acquire a carefully maintained Porsche sports car from the early 2000s. 1964 Triumph TR4 - Restored/Outstanding History

The Triumph TR4 was introduced in 1961 as the successor to the TR3A, combining traditional British sports car character with Michelotti styling, a wider body and improved practicality. Powered by Triumph’s proven four-cylinder engine and featuring rack-and-pinion steering, the TR4 quickly established itself as an appealing sporting car, equally at home on the open road or competing in club events. Today, it remains one of the most recognisable and desirable models in Triumph’s TR range.

First registered in 1964, this outstanding right-hand-drive Triumph TR4 is finished in red with a renewed black interior, featuring Wilton carpeting and newly fitted Ridguard seats trimmed in leather. Equipped with a four-speed gearbox, overdrive and Minilite-style knock-on wheels, it presents beautifully and offers the engaging driving experience for which these cars are so highly regarded. A Moto-Lita steering wheel adds a further period sporting touch.

What truly distinguishes this TR4, however, is its exceptional restoration history and the remarkable level of documentation that accompanies it. Having had just four previous owners, the car benefits from a fascinating recorded past, a comprehensive restoration carried out to concours standards and a history folder that provides an unusually detailed insight into its development over the years.

A previous owner, Mr J. S., compiled an extensive typed account of the car’s history and restoration in 2008. According to his research, the TR4 was originally a private export to the United States in 1964 before returning to the UK in 1979. It was subsequently acquired by Mr J. C. from Martins Garage in Guildford in 1985, at which time the car was white. Further information was obtained from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust in 1986.

The restoration project began in earnest in 1986, when Mr J. C. took the car to Chestnut House Sports Cars in Wisbech for work to the sills and wings. Chris Carter recognised the quality and originality of the body and suggested that the car would make an excellent concours restoration project. This recommendation proved to be the catalyst for a much more comprehensive undertaking than originally envisaged.

The inner body shell was entrusted to TR specialists East Anglian Sports Cars of St Ives, and the restoration ultimately became an extensive, ground-up project. The body was removed, the chassis and suspension received a complete overhaul, and the engine was fully rebuilt alongside the four-speed gearbox and overdrive unit. In short, there was scarcely a moving component that escaped attention. The restoration was finally completed in 1992, with every effort made to return the car to an exceptional standard.

The results speak for themselves. Following completion, the TR4 went on to achieve considerable success at concours events, including winning at Masterclass level, where it competed against previous Best in Show winners. Importantly, this was not simply a cosmetic exercise; the extensive mechanical work ensured that the car was restored as a complete sporting machine, with attention paid to its chassis, suspension, drivetrain and overall driving characteristics.

The accompanying history folder is particularly impressive and contains invoices covering the restoration, servicing and regular maintenance over the years. A detailed parts list records the components used during the restoration, where they were sourced and whether supporting invoices or receipts are available. There is also a photographic restoration diary comprising more than 50 A4 pages, documenting the work in considerable detail, including annotated engine photographs identifying various upgrades.

Further supporting documentation includes V5 registration history tracing the car’s ownership, MOT records dating back to 1984 and old tax discs. There are also lovely period photographs showing the TR4 attending Triumph TR gatherings and shows, adding a personal dimension to its story and illustrating its long association with the enthusiast community.

Although the major restoration was completed some years ago, this TR4 has continued to be maintained to a high standard and carefully preserved to concours expectations. Its presentation remains superb, and it is clear that considerable care has gone into retaining the quality achieved during the original restoration. On the road, it drives exactly as a well-sorted TR4 should, delivering the characterful performance, direct steering and open-road enjoyment that have made these cars enduring classics.

This is a particularly special example, combining an exceptional restoration, documented concours success, an extensive history file and genuine road-going ability. The quality of the work, the depth of the supporting paperwork and the care evident in its continued upkeep make it stand out as one of the finest Triumph TR4s we have seen for some time.

2001 Mercedes SLK 320 - Automatic/One Previous Owner

1970 MGB Roadster - Heritage Shell Rebuild/Owned For Over 20 Years/Photographic Restoration

The MGB is one of the most recognisable British sports cars of the post-war era, produced by the British Motor Corporation and later British Leyland between 1962 and 1980. With its traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, attractive styling and enjoyable road manners, the MGB became a defining model of the classic British roadster, offering motoring that remains as appealing today as it was when new.

First registered in 1970, this smart white MGB Roadster is presented with a contrasting black interior, creating a timeless colour combination that suits the car's sporting character perfectly. Following a heritage shell rebuild in the 1990s, the car has covered approximately 30,000 recorded miles, offering an appealing combination of classic styling and a sporting specification.

The current owner has been associated with the car for over 20 years, with ownership largely held through his businesses, followed by personal ownership on retirement. Although the V5 documents record changes of registered keeper, these largely reflect changes in business ownership rather than a succession of unrelated private owners. 1963 Triumph Spitfire 4 - Interesting European History/75000 Miles

Introduced in 1962, the Triumph Spitfire was a small British two-seat sports car produced by the Standard-Triumph division of the British Leyland Motor Corporation’s predecessors. Designed by Italian stylist Giovanni Michelotti, the Spitfire combined attractive styling, nimble handling and affordable open-top motoring, quickly establishing itself as a popular choice among sports car enthusiasts. The early Spitfire 4, powered by a 1,147cc four-cylinder engine, offered an engaging driving experience that perfectly captured the spirit of British motoring in the 1960s.

First registered in the UK in 1963, this lovely red Triumph Spitfire 4 presents an appealing opportunity to acquire an early example of this much-loved British sports car.
