1982 Delorean DMC-12 - Restored/Electric Power Steering/Air Con
https://www.milestoneclassics.co.uk/copy-of-r4-c

The DeLorean DMC-12 is a sports car manufactured by the DeLorean Motor Company in Northern Ireland between 1981 and 1983. Conceived by John DeLorean as a distinctive, technologically advanced sports car aimed primarily at the American market, the DMC-12 became one of the most recognisable cars of its era, distinguished by its stainless-steel bodywork, gullwing doors and rear-mounted V6 engine. The project received substantial investment from the UK Government, with the factory established at Dunmurry, near Belfast, bringing significant employment to the region. Produced exclusively in left-hand drive for its intended markets, the DeLorean later achieved worldwide fame through its starring role as the time machine in the Back to the Future film series.

Milestone Classics are delighted to offer this 1982 DeLorean DMC-12, a particularly well-developed example which has benefited from considerable mechanical and electrical attention since its arrival in the UK. Originally supplied in the United States, this DeLorean was purchased from Beverly Hills Car Club in Arizona and imported to the UK in 2021. The current owner sought advice from the UK DeLorean Car Club during the importation process, ensuring that the car was brought into the country with the appropriate knowledge and specialist guidance.

The car required a substantial amount of work upon arrival in order to meet UK requirements and achieve registration. Rather than simply carrying out the minimum necessary work, the owner has continued to invest in the car, resulting in a DeLorean which is now reliable, straightforward to drive and capable of being used on a regular basis. The work undertaken has been extensive. The lighting was upgraded to conform to UK regulations, while a new steering rack was fitted and the anti-roll bar refitted. New front shock absorbers, brake callipers and brake hoses were installed, together with a new fuel accumulator, fuel pump and fuel hoses. The fuel system has received particular attention, including new fuel pipes within the engine bay, a Volvo fuel head, an overhauled fuel injector and a Volvo air mass regulator. The gearchange computer and solenoids have also been updated, further improving the usability of the car. The air-conditioning system has been overhauled with a new evaporator and converted to modern refrigerant gas, meaning that the car now benefits from effective air conditioning. New matching tyres complete the recent mechanical improvements. Electric power steering was fitted in 2023, making the DeLorean considerably easier to manoeuvre while retaining the character and feel of the original car.

In 2024 the car was entrusted to PJ Grady, a well-known name within the DeLorean community, for attention to the interior. The interior was retrimmed where necessary and the seats were professionally reconnolised, leaving the cabin presenting in a manner befitting this very distinctive 1980s sports car. Importantly, this is not simply a DeLorean which has been cosmetically prepared for sale. It has been used extensively since arriving in the UK and has demonstrated its reliability in real-world conditions. The car has participated in Sporting Bears events, providing rides to members of the public in return for charitable donations. At the NEC last year it completed no fewer than 22 ten-mile passenger rides over two days, covering in excess of 600 miles over the weekend. Throughout this demanding event the car performed without missing a beat. The engine temperature remains stable and the car has never overheated. The combination of the mechanical work undertaken, improved fuel system, electric power steering and refurbished air conditioning makes this an unusually usable example of the DMC-12. Indeed, it is a car that could readily be used as a daily driver, while still providing all the theatre associated with one of the most famous cars of the 1980s.

The provenance and supporting documentation are equally impressive. The car's history folder contains an extensive collection of invoices, including documentation from its time in Arizona, providing a useful record of expenditure and maintenance. The US invoices are present alongside the UK import paperwork, documenting its journey from America to Britain. The car took approximately three months to ship to the UK, and the associated import documentation has been retained within the history file. There is also a full original DeLorean workshop manual and parts list included, providing an invaluable reference for any future maintenance or restoration requirements. The history file also records work carried out to ensure the car remains rust free, an important consideration with any DeLorean and particularly valuable for an example which has been properly maintained throughout its ownership.

Today, this 1982 DeLorean offers a particularly appealing combination of originality, extensive mechanical development and genuine usability. It has the unmistakable stainless-steel body, gullwing doors and distinctive silhouette that made the DMC-12 an automotive icon, but with the benefit of considerable investment designed to make the car dependable and enjoyable in modern-day use.

Few cars create the same reaction when they arrive. Whether parked at a classic car gathering, taking part in a charity event or simply being driven on a Sunday morning, the DeLorean remains an extraordinary piece of automotive history. This example has already demonstrated that it can be enjoyed properly, rather than simply stored away.

For anyone looking for a DeLorean that has been properly prepared for UK ownership and is ready to be driven and enjoyed, this 1982 DMC-12 represents a compelling opportunity. Its extensive history file, UK import documentation, original workshop literature and record of substantial mechanical improvements provide reassurance, while its successful use at Sporting Bears events demonstrates that this is a car built to be enjoyed.

1954 Morris Oxford (Madge) - Four Owners From New/Fully Restored

"The Morris Oxford MO was produced by Morris Motors from 1948 until 1954 and was one of Britain's first post-war family saloons. Featuring distinctive rounded styling influenced by American automotive design and renowned for its dependable side-valve engine and comfortable ride, the Oxford became a familiar sight on Britain's roads and remains a cherished classic today."

Milestone Classics are delighted to offer for sale this beautifully restored Morris Oxford MO, affectionately known as "Madge". We always enjoy having a selection of quality 1950s saloons available for our customers, and this exceptional example is exactly the sort of honest, characterful classic that deserves a place in any collection.

Registered to just four owners from new, Madge began her life in Scotland where she was purchased by her first owner, a local jeweller, who cherished the car for over thirty years. Following his passing, the Oxford was sold by his executor to its second owner in 1995 before spending more than two decades carefully stored off the road. In 2015, the third owner purchased the Morris, inspired by fond childhood memories of his father owning an identical model, and embarked upon a sympathetic restoration that has resulted in the wonderful example we see today.

The restoration was entrusted to Chic Doig Classic Sportscars Ltd of Fife and represented an investment of approximately £14,000. Beginning in 2015, the work included replacing the sills and floor pans, repairing corrosion in the doors and wings where required, and carrying out a bare metal repaint in its original and elegant Tweed Grey finish. Mechanically, the car was carefully recommissioned with components replaced or refurbished as necessary to ensure dependable performance. Inside, new carpets and door cards were fitted while the remainder of the wonderfully original interior was preserved, allowing the Morris to retain its authentic 1950s charm and unmistakable period character. Open the door and you are instantly transported back to a different era, complete with the unique aroma and ambience that only a genuinely original classic can offer.

Out on the road, Madge is every bit as enjoyable as she is attractive. The engine runs smoothly, the column-mounted gear change is light and easy to operate, and the car cruises comfortably with modern traffic, making it equally suited to relaxed weekend drives, classic touring holidays, visits to the Goodwood Revival or simply an enjoyable trip to the local pub on a sunny afternoon.

The Morris proudly retains its original Fife registration number and is accompanied by an excellent history file that reflects the care and attention bestowed upon it throughout the years. Included are the original owner's handbook, a rare Morris Oxford MO workshop manual, numerous MOT certificates, restoration invoices and supporting paperwork documenting the extensive work carried out. Together they provide a reassuring record of the attention this car has received throughout the stewardship of its four devoted owners.

With fewer than 100 Morris Oxford MOs believed to remain on the road today, opportunities to acquire examples of this quality are increasingly rare. Combining a sympathetic restoration, charming originality, extensive history and delightful driving manners, Madge represents everything enthusiasts look for in a post-war British saloon. Milestone Classics are delighted to present this exceptional Morris Oxford MO and are confident it will provide its next custodian with many years of enjoyable classic motoring.

Details as promised! 1999 BMW 323i Convertible - One Lady Owner/Excellent History
https://www.milestoneclassics.co.uk/copy-of-r8-a

The BMW 3 Series Convertible is the open-top version of BMW’s long-running 3 Series executive car range, combining the marque’s familiar rear-wheel-drive chassis and sporting character with the added appeal of open-air motoring. The E36 generation, introduced in the late 1990s, quickly established itself as one of BMW’s most accomplished modern classics, with its restrained styling, excellent driving dynamics and strong engineering making it an increasingly desirable choice for enthusiasts today.

Milestone Classics are delighted to offer this BMW 323i Convertible, first registered in 1999 and finished in a particularly smart shade of blue. This example has had just one previous lady owner, making it an unusually well-provenanced E36 Convertible and one that has clearly been cherished throughout its life.

The 323i sits towards the more desirable end of the E36 Convertible range, offering the smooth and refined six-cylinder BMW driving experience for which these cars are renowned. The combination of the compact E36 body, straight-six power and convertible styling makes for an enjoyable and highly usable modern classic, equally suited to a weekend drive or longer-distance touring.

Importantly, this car comes with an excellent supporting history. The original BMW booklet wallet remains with the car and contains the stamped service booklet, owners handbook, warranty booklet and the original operating instructions for the car radio. The service booklet carries a number of BMW service stamps, with BMW inspection sheets retained alongside the servicing documentation, providing further evidence of the care and maintenance this car has received. There is also a substantial collection of invoices covering the servicing and maintenance carried out over the years, giving the next owner a useful paper trail and a clear insight into the car’s history. The MOT record is equally comprehensive, with a large collection of MOT certificates dating back to 2003, allowing the mileage and use of the car to be followed over many years. The car is supplied with spare keys, further adding to its completeness and originality.

This is a particularly appealing opportunity to acquire a well-documented E36 323i Convertible with only one previous lady owner, its original BMW documentation, extensive MOT history, BMW inspection records and a substantial collection of service invoices. With its classic BMW proportions, six-cylinder character and the added enjoyment of open-top motoring, it represents a very usable modern classic that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this kind of ownership and history.

A genuine, well-presented and properly documented example, offered by Milestone Classics.
