Motorcycle MOT's, new and used sales, repairs and servicing

02/09/2026

After a successful day selling motorcycle parts at the 46 crew car and motorbike show, whilst I was chatting to an old friend, I was told about this autojumble at Roche later this month, which I have now booked in to it. See you there!

If you wondered what happened to the retirement project Suzuki Katana 400, after a top end rebuild, it's running fine and past it's MOT today. Hopefully i will take it to Crofthandy classic motorcycle show on Sunday. See you there.

Merry Christmas to all my old customers, hopefully see you out on the road soon.

Further to my previous medical issues, I have now additionally been diagnosed with BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Postional Vertigo), so still don't feel well enough to work and in reality feel that I shan't be reopening at all, as I'm due to retire in September, at any rate.
I will get some help in to finish the work I still have in the workshop when I feel able to get to the unit to supervise the completion of the work.
I will contact the relevant partys when I get the jobs completed.

I will also let you all know when I'm back in the unit, so that you can say your goodbye's.

I would like to thank all my past customers for their custom over the last 13 years, hopefully I'll see you out there on your travels on your bike.

Also, if there is anyone out there who might be interested in take business over, contact me to negotiate a deal on equipment and goodwill.

I'm currently awaiting a consultation with my cardiologist, which should be on 14th May.
I will then make a decision as to the future of the business.

What does a convalescing mechanic do? Build an engine, of course, albeit a plastic one. I've spent 3 days building this beauty, a W16, with quad turbos. I think it might be a while before I'm back rebuilding the real thing!

I'm signed off sick until 11th May, so won't be open again until Monday 12th May, at the earliest. Thank you for the patience all my customers. I fully understand if you take your business elsewhere, hopefully see you later in the year.

I'm back home! Still not feeling great, but I'll keep you up to date. I will not go back to work until I feel right. The fact that I collapsed without any warning makes me very cautious about being at work on my own, in case it happens again.

30/03/2025

I suffered a medical incident this morning and am in hospital, so will not be in work for few days. As soon as I'm fit and able, I will be back. Keep watching for updates
