🚨 Another Wet Belt Caught Just in Time! 🚨

Take a look at the condition of this wet timing belt removed from a 2019 Peugeot with only 68,000 miles 👀

As you can see from the photos, the belt is heavily cracked and deteriorating — despite being well below what many owners expect for replacement mileage.

⚠️ Why is this serious?
When wet belts begin to break down they can:

🔧 Shed rubber debris into the engine oil
🔧 Block the oil pick-up strainer
🔧 Cause low oil pressure
🔧 Lead to turbo failure
🔧 Cause catastrophic engine damage
🔧 Snap completely and destroy the engine internally

This customer avoided a potentially very expensive engine replacement by having it inspected in time.

💡 Our Advice:
Don’t rely solely on manufacturer intervals with wet belt engines. We strongly recommend inspection and early replacement to prevent failure — especially on vehicles over 5 years old or 50–70k miles.
