A1 MOT Centre is Taunton's only "MOT only" testing station. A1 MOT is an approved vehicle testing station that has been carrying out MOT's since 1996. We have no reason to fail your vehicle, or advise unnecessary work be done as we do not do servicing or repairs. Unlike garages that promote a low price MOT, if your vehicle fails and you choose to have it repaired elsewhere we do not charge for ret
ests. (Garages can charge half the VOSA fee for re-tests so please read the small print when choosing where to have your MOT done). Retests need to be done in the following ten working days. As we only do MOT's we have great availability and 90% of the time can provide a same day MOT if you call before midday. If you book on line at www.mottaunton.co.uk you will receive 10% off the VOSA price and if you use us again you will receive 20% off the VOSA price - remember with no retest fee's or work that is not required. Because we treat our customers fairly, we carry a range of light bulbs and windscreen wipers that we will provide at the price we pay, subject to availability. If your vehicle fails on something small we work to put it right so you are not inconvenienced. We will always call you first to gain your agreement. With the latest equipment and large commercial pit, we are able to accommodate classes 4, 5 & 7, that means we provide MOT's for your family hatchback, or your works van or minibus. We are located just a 5 minute walk from the town centre and two minutes from the train station, you can drop your vehicle with us, wander into town or go off on the train for the day and collect your vehicle when you are ready. We offer a 24 hour drop off and collect service from our site, so there is no need to rush back before 5pm. Ask for further details. At A1 MOT Centre we only do MOT's. We will give you an impartial MOT and the time to have it repaired. The MOT price is clear up front.
