🔧 Ford Focus – Key Not Detected! 🔑

This Ford Focus came into us with a keyless starting fault. The vehicle wasn’t detecting the key, so the keyless start system wasn’t working.

Using Ford PTS and FDRS, we carried out diagnostic checks, including wiring checks, to track down the fault.

🔍 Diagnosis led us to a faulty RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module.

✅ Faulty module replaced
✅ Module programmed using Ford diagnostic equipment
✅ Keyless starting restored!

Another fault found and fixed using the right diagnostic equipment and a bit of good old-fashioned fault finding! 💪🔵

🚨 THINK IT NEEDS A STEERING RACK? THINK AGAIN! 👀

This Ford Focus was booked in after being told it needed a steering rack due to pulling to one side and erratic steering.

We checked it ourselves…

😳 Just watch the tyre!

The tread had separated internally and was literally bulging out like a balloon as the wheel rotated.

❌ Steering rack needed? NO!
✅ Fault found? YES!
💷 Customer saved the cost of an unnecessary repair.

🔍 Not every air conditioning fault is just low gas...
This Ford Puma was booked in because the A/C wasn't performing as it should.
Rather than simply re-gassing the system, we carried out a nitrogen pressure test to accurately check for leaks.
The test quickly identified a small leak from the A/C condenser, allowing us to pinpoint the fault and recommend the correct repair.
Proper diagnosis saves time, money and avoids wasting refrigerant on a system that won't stay sealed.
