Capture Motorsport was at Donington Park this weekend supporting Brad Hutchison Racing in TCR UK .
Having had 4 laps in qualifying disallowed due to track limits, Brad had to start from the back of the field. Reality was the pace was good enough for a 2nd row start.
Race 1 was always going to be a big push to the front, with Brad coming home P4 despite suffering overheating breaks early on in the race and a minor disagreement with a tyre stack.
Race 2 is being called by some as the best TCR UK race ever, and rightly so. Starting from 5th for race 2 Brad fought his way up to the lead while defending off a pack of Hondas. Some hard but fair racing saw Brad and Max Hall switch positions for lap after lap before a final move on the last lap saw Max take the win and Brad second. Despite at the time feeling like 2nd place was a loss, looking back it was great to see Brad back where he belongs battling for the lead while returning a trophy for his hard working team and sponsors!
