Spanners down, helmets on! 🔧🏍️

The German Specialists team are heading to Mick Extance for some off-road motorbike team building!

We’re making a proper trip of it, staying in our campervans tonight before swapping the workshop for the Welsh mud tomorrow 🏕️

We don’t just work on campervans—we get out and enjoy them too!

A well-earned break for the lads, a few laughs and probably plenty of picking each other’s bikes up. Apparently that’s the team-building bit 😂

We’ll share some pictures once we’ve found out who can actually ride and who’s just been talking a good game!

Proud to support Cheadle Town Juniors U11s! ⚽️🙌

We’ve bought the team new changing robes to help keep them warm and dry on those cold, wet match days. 🥶🌧️

Great to give something back to local grassroots football and support the kids doing what they love.

From everyone at German Specialists, good luck for the season! ⚽️🔴⚫️

🚐💨 We’re on our way to Hooton Lodge for Dubbed Out Camp Out! ⛺️🍻

Tunes are going ON 🎶🔊 and we’ll be spotting those DOC stickers on the way 👀😂

Unfortunately, our MAN van is still missing its DOC sticker… 👀 Maybe Germaine Williams can sort us out when we get there! 😂🙏

If you spot the German Specialists MAN on the way, give us a wave! 👋

🏕️ Dubbed Out Campout – BOOKED! 🚐

We’ve just booked ourselves onto the last Dubbed Out Campout of 2026 at Hooton Lodge Farm in September 🙌

Although there might be a slight twist this time… we could be arriving in the MAN rather than the VW! 😂

For anyone who doesn’t already know, we don’t just specialise in VW Transporters and Crafters — we also look after Mercedes Sprinters and MAN TGEs. 🚐🔧

From everyday work vans to fully converted campervans, we can help with:

🔧 Servicing & maintenance
🔧 Diagnostics & electrical faults
🔧 Mechanical repairs
🔧 Air conditioning
🔧 Campervan electrics & heating
🔧 Performance & tuning

So whether you’ve got a Transporter, Crafter, Sprinter or TGE, we’ve got you covered.

Now the important decision… which van gets the weekend away? 😂🏕️🍻

🚗🎶 Off to Dubbed Out Festival this weekend?

Just checked the route and it’s a smooth 27 minutes / 21 miles from German Specialists to the festival at WA16 0JE. Traffics looking kind today!
Anyone else heading there with a shorter journey? Drop your travel time below 👇 We’re always jealous of the locals who live 10 minutes away 😂
See you in the field!

One of the standout cars for me at yesterday’s Goodwood Festival of Speed was this stunning Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Sonderwunsch “Tree of Life.”

The paintwork is incredible. Porsche has seamlessly blended Viola Purple Metallic into Chromaflair Magic Magenta, creating a colour transition that changes dramatically depending on the light. It’s one of those finishes you have to see in person to really appreciate.

The whole car is a one-off creation, taking nearly 400 hours to complete, with bespoke details throughout the interior and exterior. It really shows what Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme is capable of.

The level of craftsmanship is unreal.

What was everyone else’s favourite car from Goodwood this year?

🔧 This great-looking VW Crafter is in the workshop today for some essential preventative maintenance.

Today’s job includes:
✅ Timing belt replacement
✅ New tensioners & idlers
✅ Water pump replacement
✅ Fresh genuine VAG specification antifreeze

Replacing these components together helps ensure maximum reliability and protects against costly future repairs. It’s all part of keeping your van performing at its best.

If your timing belt is due, don’t leave it until it’s too late—get in touch to book your vehicle in.
