There's nothing better than hearing about our customers' first adventures in their new Orange Camper. 🧡🚐

Back in May, one of our members shared this update after their very first trip:

"We got back from our first trip in our new Red Orange Camper yesterday. We are a family of four with an 11-year-old and a nearly 2-year-old, and it was a huge improvement over our old T6."

Their adventure took them to the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, where they explored Poole's Cavern and enjoyed cycling along the Monsal Trail.

One thing they particularly loved was the extra practicality their Orange Camper gave them. Although their campsite pitch wasn't large enough for a drive-away awning, the Fiamma wind-out awning was the perfect solution, something that simply wouldn't have worked with their previous van.

It's little moments like these that make all the difference. More flexibility, more comfort and more freedom to enjoy your adventures, whatever the campsite throws at you.

We're so pleased they had such a fantastic first trip and loved catching up with them again at our Orange Campers Campout later in the year.

Two magazines. Two independent reviews. One thing in common... they loved what they saw. 🧡

We're incredibly proud that Orange Campers has been featured in both Campervan magazine and What Motorhome, with each putting our latest innovations through their paces.

Campervan magazine reviewed our new Fixed Rear Bed layout, praising the spacious feel, practical design and clever storage throughout. They called it "a fresh approach to the fixed bed format" and noted something we're especially proud of, that you can tell Richard actually uses the vans he designs, with every detail shaped by real camping experience.

What Motorhome took a closer look at our built-in shower and High Roof with ATEK Pop Top. Their verdict? "A high-quality finish continues to impress." They singled out the fully sealed shower pod, the spacious interior and a kitchen good enough to rival much larger campervans.

Reviews like these are wonderful, but what matters most is that they reinforce what we've always believed: thoughtful design, continuous innovation and quality craftsmanship make all the difference.

And we're not stopping there. We're already working on more, including:

What a weekend at Malvern! 🚐🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Western Motorhome & Campervan Show last weekend. We had a brilliant few days, and it was fantastic to see so much interest in the Orange Campers range.

All of our ’vans received plenty of attention, but there was one that people REALLY wanted to see...

Our Fixed Rear Bed MWB! 🛏️

Visitors loved the feeling of space created by having two separate areas for sleeping and living, the fact that the bed is permanently made up, and all that useful storage underneath.

There was also lots of anticipation around the new shower option for the Fixed Rear Bed, which has now arrived at our workshop. 🚿 We know plenty of you are waiting to see this one, so watch this space!

One of the loveliest things to hear throughout the weekend was how impressed people were by the innovation behind our designs.

A special thank you also has to go to our brilliant ambassador Judith, who joined us for the whole weekend with her MWB Pop Top and helped visitors hear about Orange Camper ownership from someone who actually lives it. She did manage to escape for a well-earned cycle at one point, as you’ll spot in the photos! 🚲😂

And we loved catching up with Kev & Jan too. They currently own one of our SWB High Tops and are considering upgrading for spring 2027.

They tried out the Fixed Rear Bed and, well... we struggled to get them off it! 😂 We’ll take that as a good sign.

Weekends like Malvern remind us how lucky we are to have such a fantastic community of owners, ambassadors and future Orange Camper owners around us.

And it seems a few of you left Malvern with campervan plans of your own, because our upcoming build slots are filling quickly after the weekend! 👀

Our Spanish summer certainly turned into an adventure! ☀️🚐

We spent a brilliant week in San Sebastián with Sonya’s sister and her family before travelling further along the coast into Asturias, with our Orange Camper very much at the heart of the trip.

After taking the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao, we rolled off into Spanish sunshine and headed straight for La Co**ha beach. The campsite wasn’t ready, so there was only one thing for it... park up, get the swimmers on and head straight into the sea! 🌊

The week that followed included plenty of beach days, swimming, surfing, tapas, calamares, Spanish omelettes and even the occasional fish finger sandwich cooked in the ’van when the boys fancied “a proper meal”! 😂

And we really got to put some of our latest campervan features through their paces.

With temperatures around 30°C and plenty of mosquitoes, the fly screens and portable air conditioning were invaluable at night.

Our new built-in shower was another game changer. After a full day on the beach, we could put the hot water on and everyone could shower right there in the beach car park. No trailing sand everywhere and no hunting around for campsite facilities. 🚿

Sleeping worked brilliantly too. Charlie and Sonya took the two singles downstairs while Richard and Billy slept upstairs in the ATEK Pop Top. Having that extra sleeping space gave us so much flexibility as a family of four.

After San Sebastián, we headed into Asturias and returned to Camping Arenal de Morís for more beautiful weather and beach days.

Unfortunately, the trip then took a very unexpected turn when Billy needed an emergency operation to have his appendix removed. Thankfully he’s absolutely fine now, and the hospital staff in Oviedo were wonderful. 🧡

It was also one of those moments when we realised just how valuable having the campervan with us really was.

We were able to sleep in the ’van at the hospital so one of us could always be close to Billy. Once he was discharged, he wasn’t able to manage the walk to the campsite showers, so having our own shower meant he could get washed and comfortable without having to go anywhere.

Definitely not how we expected to use it, but probably the moment on the whole trip when we were most grateful for having it.

Once Billy was feeling stronger, we slowed everything down and enjoyed a gentle trip to Llanes, where we found a brilliant campervan parking spot beside the beach. There was jellyfish spotting, ice cream, calamares and a few games of Mölkky. ☀️

And there was one very good reason to stay put in Asturias a little longer...

We were in one of the best places in the world to see the solar eclipse! 🌒

After everything the holiday had thrown at us, being able to stay where we were, slow down and experience something so special together felt like a pretty incredible way to finish our Spanish adventure.

That’s one of the things we love most about campervan travel. You have the freedom to change the plan, stay a little longer and make the most of those unexpected moments.

From swimming in San Sebastián and exploring Asturias to hospital stays, beachside showers and watching an eclipse together, it certainly wasn’t an ordinary summer holiday.

But it’s one we’ll be talking about for a very long time. 🧡🚐
