An excellent display from Mitchell, who passed his test with just the one driver fault. What made it interesting was his older sister passed first time and with just one driver fault. Mitchell was determined not to be beaten by his sister. The driver fault he got was for setting off for a brief moment with his left signal on. If the examiner had not been as strict, it could quite easily have been a clean sheet then he would have beaten his sister. An amazing performance though well done mate.

Special congratulations go to Max. Who kept my good run going with a 1st time pass with only four driver faults. Max has been driving so well, the question was could he do it on his test day? The answer was an overwhelming yes and he did it so easily as well. All the hardwork paying off nicely, well done mate you deserve it.

Well done to Caitlin who gave me another 1st time pass with an excellent drive, receiving only four driver faults. She mentioned that her older brother had passed first time, and that there was no way she could allow herself to fail and suffer the embarrassment. Worried that she may put more pressure on herself. Though my concerns were not needed as she totally smashed it. Well done Caitlin I am so proud of you.

A special mention today goes to Richard Gravell who smashed his test in Rotherham today first time. He decided to do it in his own car and only got one driver fault. I am really pleased for him as he has mild autism like myself. This has presented him with many struggles but he has overcome them brilliantly to pass very easily. CHANGES TO THE DRIVING TEST (from 09/06/2026) 🚗
From Tuesday, 9th June 2026, learner drivers will only be able to move their driving test to nearby test centres.
If you book a new test from this date, you will only be able to move your test to:
• any of the 3 centres nearest to where your test is booked
• the test centre you first booked at on that current booking
If you have an existing booking, the new rule will apply to where your test is booked at, on 9th June – not where you first booked. 🚗
