A first time PASS with just ONE driver fault! 🚗👏

After seeing how incredibly nervous you were beforehand, I honestly thought you were going to turn around and go home without even taking the test! But instead, you dug deep, took a deep breath, and proved to yourself that you could do it.

What an amazing achievement, and with only one driver fault too! That just shows how capable you really are, even if your nerves were trying to tell you otherwise.

So proud of you for not giving up and for believing in yourself. Now it's time to enjoy your freedom, make lots of memories, and most importantly, enjoy driving! 🚗💨

⭐️ Congratulations Siena ⭐️

A first time pass at Handsworth this afternoon 🙌

Siena came to me believing she could drive, but feeling frustrated that she hadn't been trusted or given the chance to prove it.

After a couple of lessons to see what she could do, I started handing over more responsibility and encouraging her to tackle things she'd never done before.

Cue the panic, second-guessing, and self-doubt!

Then, almost overnight, something changed. Everything clicked. With the right environment, support, and encouragement, Siena had absolutely flourished 🌸 The confidence grew, the doubts faded, and she started believing in her own ability.

Today, all that hard work paid off with a fantastic drive at Handsworth.

The thing is, confidence doesn't come before the challenge, it comes after you've faced it. You don't build confidence by waiting until you feel ready; you build it by having a go, making mistakes, learning from them, and realising you're capable of more than you thought.

Congratulations, Siena. You've earned every bit of this success. It's been a pleasure watching your confidence grow and seeing you prove to yourself what you were capable of all along. Enjoy every minute of your freedom! 🚗✨

🚨DO YOU GET TRIGGERED BY L PLATES? 🚨

Do you see an L plate and immediately think:
“Oh, for goodness sake…” 😩😂

They’re doing 28 in a 30? *furious*

They’ve stopped at a junction to make sure it’s safe? *outrageous*

They’ve missed a gap you would have taken? *They shouldn’t even be on the road!* 🙄😂

*You* were that learner once, so remember;

They’re not trying to inconvenience you.
They’re not deliberately holding you up.
They’re not ignoring you.
They’re learning.

So please don’t tailgate them, beep at them, flash them or pressure them into doing something before they’re ready.

Take a breath. 😜

Give them a bit of space.
Give them a bit of time.
Let them think and make their own decisions without feeling rushed.

Because that learner might already be feeling like they’re “in the way” or holding everyone up. A little patience from the driver behind can make a HUGE difference to their confidence.

To all the drivers who do give us space, time and patience, we see you, and we really do appreciate you. ❤️ 🙏

⭐️ Congratulations Natalie ⭐️

When Natalie first came to me, she'd already experienced the disappointment of an unsuccessful test, and with that came a real knock to her confidence.

It didn't take long to see that the ability was there. The driving wasn't the problem, it was the pressure she was putting on herself.

Together, we worked on shifting the focus away from passing the test and towards becoming a safe, confident and competent driver for life. Week after week, I watched Natalie grow in confidence, trust her own decisions and believe in her abilities.

Today, the nerves were still there, but they no longer controlled the outcome. All of that hard work, determination and resilience paid off, and Natalie has officially earned her driving licence! 👏

Natalie, I couldn't be prouder of everything you've achieved. You've proved to yourself that you're more capable than you ever believed. Now it's time to trust yourself, enjoy your freedom, and celebrate this amazing achievement 🚘✨

After weeks of overthinking every lesson and being convinced the test would be full of tricks and surprises, she came back and said, "It was just everything we'd practised!" 😂

Funny that* 😉

I'm so proud of how hard you've worked to get here. Enjoy your freedom, drive safely, and have fun car shopping 🚘

*we don't practice just for the test. We practice for real life driving. And when you can drive safely (like Beth can), the test is just that! Driving safely. That's it. No tricks or traps from the examiner. Remember, they are on your side and they want you to pass!
