In Sophie’s Own Words: How She Became Involved with Fisker

“We started stocking Fiskers back in 2024, and after seeing that very first car I was hooked!

The team and I had never seen a car like it, and it took no time at all for us to be approached to become an official service centre.

We jumped at the chance to look after them, and because of my enthusiasm, I was given the opportunity to learn the software and everything there was to know about these cars.

When I’m not in the office looking after the admin and accounts side of Baden Powell I’m outside working with Fiskers. We are trusted nationwide and look after cars from across the country. It's safe to say no two Fiskers are the same. Every day is a school day when working with them so much, even after two years of work so far!

Beyond Baden Powell, I am very proud to play a part in the wider Fisker Community as I dedicate two hours each Friday to join an online meeting with Fisker technicians from across the globe. The aim of these calls is to solve obscure issues and help talk through problems with other technicians who may be facing tasks I have previously seen and vice versa.

This year I was offered the incredible opportunity of flying to Norway to dismantle three Fiskers. Working in a team of seven technicians, it was a huge learning experience all round, and a fantastic time.

I will never profess to know everything there is to know about these cars, but I do give it my all to jump in and keep learning. Having no technician background prior to this opportunity has left me gobsmacked at how far I've come.

Three years ago, I had never worked on a car before let alone an electric car, and now I'm now a well-known name within the UK Fisker owners' groups. That is something will forever be proud of.”
