Been mega busy and a bit lax on updates this last couple of weeks. Audi TT was in for a carbon fibre rear spoiler and a resonator delete. Audi Q5 is a longer term project but we fitted a replacement rear spring and some other minor fixes. The steering rack is coming off soon for a refurb. VW Scirocco in for a few running issues and a inspection. We found a jacking point that was peeling away from the floor, waterpump/thermostat housing issues along with a load of other little jobs. My long neglected VW Transporter finally had its new front end and rear bumper fitted. VW Golf in for a service, and another VW Golf in for a full service and cambelt/waterpump using genuine VW parts. Audi SQ5 in as a non runner, looking like fuel issues, another VW Golf for a split water pipe to the heater matrix. Fitted the cams and timing chain to the A4 DTM engine, and a full service on a VW Transporter T6.

Forgot to post up some of last weeks work
On Wednesday we had a Skoda Karoq in for gearbox service, engine service and timing belt all genuine Skoda parts. Thursday was carrying on with the Skoda then a Audi TT in for a new pcv, rear bump stop adjustment and a Maxton front Spoiler. Friday was a full service on a Audi A4 using genuine Audi parts again. Then made a start on trying to fix the auto box in the Audi A1, its been away for repair as we thought it was a electrical fault. It wasnt so now we are trying to find the fault on the hydraulic side.

Monday we had in a Audi A4 for a full service using genuine Audi parts, then a VW UP also for a full service with genuine VW parts. We updated the digital service history for the UP as we can do for any VAG vehicle. Then had a regular customers work car in, wont say what it is because its French🤪. The alternator decided to remove its own pulley so we ordered up a replacement which has been fitted today(Tuesday). We then had a VW Caddy for a full service again with genuine VW parts. This afternoon we had a Audi SQ5 for fitting Maxton front spoiler and side skirts then a Audi Q5 for a quick brake bleed. We even found time before going he to do some assembly on the new front bumper for the Dukes Garage Transporter.

So this week we have had a Audi A1 in for dsg mechatronics issues, so it has been removed and sent off to be fixed. We had a Audi A5 in for a gearbox service, a Audi Q5 for a brake servo replacement due to lack of pressure caused by rot on the underside of it. A VW Golf in for new front suspension arms, a selection of wiring repairs in the engine bay and a oil pressure sensor. Then another VW Golf that a long term customer has just bought, for a induction kit replacement and sorting a load of bodges done by the previous owner. We also bonded a Leighton vans lower spoiler onto a VW T6.1 bumper that has just been painted and pressed new bearings into new hubs for our MK2 Golf.

This week has been busy as usual, had a Audi A4 in for a full service using genuine Audi parts. A Audi A6 in for running issues, did some more work on the VW Beetle including rear brakes, hubs, handbrake cables, brake lines, a window regulator, full service using genuine VW parts and loads more. Had a Skoda Octavia VRS in for a new battery (we can do decent prices on Yuasa batterys). VW Scirocco in for all new rear arms and shocks, a VW Golf mk4 for a window regulator. Started a Dsg mechatronics rebuild for a Audi A1 due in soon. VW Transporter and a VW Golf both in for a service again with genuine VW parts. Then a Audi A5 in for a rear spring replacement.

We are now closed till Monday 28th September so will not be answering calls or messages till then

Monday we had a Audi A4 in for a service and a headlight bulb. Then a Audi TT in for full service (the pollen filter hadnt been changed in 5 years😳), a pair of Bilstein rear shocks, a new header tank and a coolant flush, also a auxiliary belt and the tensioner pulley had the melted belt remains cleaned off and the bearing packed with grease.
Tuesday started with us fitting a pair of rear shocks on a long time customers Suzuki SX4. Then onto a VW Beetle for a full service, replaced the coolant temp sensors, started a welding repair on one sill, also removed some parts off the customers old Beetle ready to fit to the new one.
