Then a Audi TT in for full service (the pollen filter hadnt been changed in 5 years😳), a pair of Bilstein rear shocks, a new header tank and a coolant flush, also a auxiliary belt and the tensioner pulley had the melted belt remains cleaned off and the bearing packed with grease.
Tuesday started with us fitting a pair of rear shocks on a long time customers Suzuki SX4. Then onto a VW Beetle for a full service, replaced the coolant temp sensors, started a welding repair on one sill, also removed some parts off the customers old Beetle ready to fit to the new one.

Please remember all the services done on VAG vehicles use genuine parts which we can offer at very competitive prices.

Another busy week finished
Monday was a Audi TT in for inner and outer rack ends and wheel bearings. A long time customer with her Picasso that the under tray had partially fallen off, so reattached and ordered a new one as it was broken. Then a Audi Q5 for a vacuum pump replacement which was finished on Tuesday. Then onto a Audi A5 for a full service using genuine Audi parts and inspection. Found a coolant leak which turned out to be a leaking pipe under the header tank, stripped it down cleaned it and refitted now it no longer leaks.
I also updated the digital service history with Audi now ive been accepted as a approved Independent Workshop, i am also currently training on my new ODIS software which will allow me to do more things like coding in new modules etc.
i also did some mot repairs late afternoon into evening on a customers Clio work car.
Wednesday i actually took a day off for my Birthday and had a day out with the wife in my mk2 Golf.
Thursday had the red A3 from last week back from the bodyshop and installed a new rear wiper motor. Then a VW Golf R in for a service before his trip to Europe. Today (Friday) Audi Q5 had its egr cooler removed as it was leaking fumes and coolant. Took a Audi A5 for a mot and diagnostics on a VW Sharan.

Had another day on the VW Tiguan R audio today, we fitted the front mids and tweeters in the A pillars. Fitted all the conversion wiring to feed the amp while retaining the factory entertainment unit. Then wired the amp up in it’s position under the passenger seat. Tomorrow we will be doing the amplified sub box and wiring and hopefully rear door speakers. Also had a hour before i left to assemble some parts for my Mk2 Golf, its going 5 stud hubs with bigger brakes, and some old school Borbet A wheels.

Saturday afternoon i went into work to have a few hours on my own car (mk2 Golf). Fitted new wheel bearings and new hub flanges into new hubs ready for the suspension refresh/upgrade. Then made a retro stealth shelf with Pioneer 6x9’s as two little door speakers just wernt cutting it. Today (Monday) was the start of a big audio job on a VW Tiguan R, we started with sound deadening all 4 doors and fitting the upgraded speaker mounts and Audison speakers. Its back Wednesday for the next part of the install. Had a hour on the Q5 that has running issues and then fitted a new washer pump to my van. Getting it ready for holidays next week
