So five months ago the wife to be (in 3 days) and I bought ourselves this 1933 Ford pickup, after a short drive we soon realised that it needed a few things fixing, first to get the chop was the wiring loom, a Down to earth wiring harness was fitted along with a new dash and gauges, it was then noticed that there wasn’t much holding the pickup bed on so that was removed and new mounts were added, the battery tray was sunk a couple of extra inches so that the battery was under the bed wood. next a new bonnet was fabricated and also a new seat frame as the old seat was just a piece of wood on the floor. Other things to get replaced were a new grill shell and a new grill insert was made to fit, new disc brake kit up front, new wheels and tyres, it was then decided that I would have my first go at painting a car so a makeshift paint booth was put up and a few days later the truck had a fresh new look. After that we delivered it to Keith Andrews (dad) for a new interior and to say that he did an amazing job would be an under statement, it truly is incredible and we feel so proud to be able to say we finally have one of dads interiors 😁 the last thing to get done was the oak bed wood with lift up storage area and greedy boards
