🚗💡 INDICATING WHEN PULLING AWAY — ARE YOU DOING IT RIGHT? 👀

When pulling away from the side of the road, it’s important to remember that indicating isn’t just about using your signal — it’s about communicating with everyone around you! 🚦❤️

Before moving off, you need to make sure it’s safe and that other road users understand what you’re planning to do.

✅ Check your mirrors for approaching vehicles, cyclists and other road users.

✅ Check your blind spots by looking over your shoulder where necessary. Don’t rely on your mirrors alone!

✅ Indicate at the right time to show others that you intend to move away from the kerb.

✅ Look out for pedestrians and cyclists, especially those passing close to your vehicle.

✅ Make sure it’s safe before moving! Remember, indicating doesn’t give you priority. Always wait for a suitable gap and move away safely.

✅ Cancel your indicator if it doesn’t switch off automatically once you’ve moved away.

🚨 Remember, your indicator is there to communicate your intentions, not to tell everyone else what to do! Always observe carefully and make sure your actions are safe.

Talk about a day to remember! 🚗⚽🎸

So there we were, waiting at the test centre, when the WHOLE Millwall team strolled right past us… looking a little bit sheepish, I have to say 😂 we couldn’t believe it!

And that was just the start. Lucas went on to have one of the top 5 days of his life: according to his mate who I also teach

✅ Passed his driving test FIRST time with just 1 minor!
⚽ Headed straight to Fratton Park and watched Pompey beat Millwall
🎶 Then finished the night at a gig with his mates

Honestly, you couldn't make it up! A day he'll remember forever 💙

And being a huge Oasis fan, there was only one way to celebrate… Oasis!

Honestly, I'm feeling so grateful this week. This is the start of our driving community, and every one of you is making it shine on a rainy day ☔️✨ My brilliant pupils, their amazing families, and everyone who comments, shares and cheers us on: you lot make EDA what it is 💛

🚨😂 Today Lacee attempted an emergency stop… and well, she DEFINITELY succeeded! 🤣💨

But I think we’ve learnt an important lesson today… GLASSES NEED SEATBELTS TOO! 👓💀😂

One second, everything was going smoothly, and the next, my glasses were making a dramatic escape! 😭🤣

🚗 Remember, emergency stops are an important skill for every learner driver to practise safely… but maybe next time we should secure the passengers AND the accessories! 😂
