Out in Sandbanks, Poole today diagnosing an Audi A4 Avant that was rapidly overheating at the roadside. 🚐💨
The culprit? A completely seized coolant pump, which is a known issue on these VAG engines. As you can see by comparing the old unit next to the brand new replacement, internal wear completely stopped the flow, risking severe engine damage.
Because the timing belt drives this system, we performed a complete cambelt and water pump kit replacement right on the customer’s driveway to get them safely back on the road.
If your car is overheating or due its scheduled timing belt refresh, skip the dealership hassle. Check the link in our bio to book our mobile service!
