Our air conditioning regas typically takes around 45 minutes, so you can relax in our comfortable waiting area while we get you back on the road.

Pricing:
£40 + VAT plus refrigerant used
R134a: £0.06 per gram + VAT
R1234yf: £0.12 per gram + VAT

A typical system requires approximately 500g if completely empty. If your system still contains refrigerant, we will recover and reuse it, only topping up what is needed – helping to keep your costs down.

A broken down Ford Transit recovered to us this week.

The wet belt had lost more than half of its teeth, causing internal engine damage. We carried out a full repair including replacement of the cam carrier and all hydraulic lifters, rebuilding the engine using genuine Ford parts throughout.

Not only did we get the vehicle back up and running as quickly as possible, but we also provided the customer with one of our small vans so he could continue getting to work with minimal disruption.

Situations like this highlight the importance of routine maintenance. Staying on top of servicing can help prevent major failures and costly breakdowns.

A little behind the scenes of a 14-hour engine replacement.

This Peugeot van came in with a snapped cam belt that had caused complete engine failure. The top end had already been half stripped at another garage, right down to two heavily seized injectors, which made the job that bit more difficult to put back together correctly.

We re-used the two injectors that had already been removed, but the two seized ones had to be replaced as they wouldn’t budge, even with specialist tools.

A reconditioned engine was sourced and fitted, with everything carefully assembled and checked over to get the van back up and running as it should be.

After two days in the workshop, followed by extended test drives and thorough re-checks, the van was ready to go.

Something a bit different for us today and with the sun shining it made for a great day to be out mobile.

We don’t usually get involved with classic cars, but sometimes you make an exception for a great customer.

This is a 1979 Renault 17 we’ve been helping with as part of a full restoration. The brakes and suspension are now completed and it’s back on its wheels, ready to head off to the body shop for the next stage.

It’s not every day you get to play a part in bringing a classic back to life.
