Just a quick update thanks to Rhiannon Thomas setting up a go fund me page https://www.gofundme.com/f/make-kits-dreams-come-true , it's been the hardest 5 months of our lives Miranda Eales , Kit was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in August after having a pea sized lump come up in he's jaw , it's a aggressive form of soft tissue cancer which has been eating away at his jaw , all the tests hes had has come back it's contained in one area which has been a blessing in the circumstances, he has had 5 cycles of chemotherapy and has 4 more cycles planned which is every 3 weeks and lasts for 3 days which takes it out of him, he has just had a 11 hour surgery to remove the tumour from his cheek and jaw which entailed having the bone from his lower leg removed with muscle, tissue, blood vessels and having it transplanted into his jaw , once it's heeled he then has 6 weeks in Manchester to have a special radiotherapy which is called proton beam therapy followed by more chemotherapy, all we can do is hope and pray that all this works and we can get our lives back to normal, Kit has been so brave, always smiling and isn't fazed by anything , he's a inspiration and our hero , he's under teenage cancer trust at Nottingham which has been absolutely amazing in every way, we would like to thank everyone for there help , support and messages which has touched our hearts and got us through so far , I'd like to thank each person that has donated so far ❤️

This has to be the hardest thing I have ever posted, my poor boy Kit has been diagnosed with cancer. we are currently in Nottingham awaiting treatment, obviously we are in turmoil and it's really hard to get our heads around what's happening to our son, it's one off those things that you wouldn't wish on your worse enemy or ever think it'll happen to you let alone your son. obviously the new garage has been put on the back burner whilst I spend time with him and my family at this hard time, it will happen but not sure how quick . Russ Butcher and Joel Kade are doing a fantastic job looking after the place whilst I'm not there but they are limited on what they can do and how much they can take on so if they can't get you in I'm sorry , big jobs will not be taken on until I'm back, but I do need you to still use the garage please. Thank you to all that have contacted us to give there love and support , it means the world , if we haven't messaged you to let you know or answered back I'm sorry our heads all over the place

Due to the increasing spread of covid-19, I will be using my clear plastic curtains over the garage doors. This DOES NOT mean I am closed, i am just simply using them to stop too many customers entering at once.

I am offering anyone that falls into the key worker category 10% off any work on your vehicle.
Also if anyone needs work doing but are struggling to get in, we will collect and return your vehicle from your home or work place free of charge.

COVID-19 and what D Eales on wheels is doing to protect our staff and customers.

We are open and trading as normal and will continue to do so, unless otherwise advised by government guidelines.

The health and well-being of our staff and customers, is always our number one priority.

The government advice is changing daily, and we are making sure we keep up with and are abiding by the current guidelines.

On top of our normal high standard of cleanliness within the workplace our current process is as follows.
➡️we are wearing disposable gloves at all times and not just when working on cars. A new pair of clean gloves are used for each vehicle they enter.
➡️ we are ensuring they always wash their hands between each vehicle they work on and before moving from the workshop to reception.
➡️ All counter surfaces, door handles and other commonly touched surfaces are being cleaned & disinfected on a regular basis.
➡️ The card machine is also being cleaned & disinfected after every use.

For those of you who may not want to visit us at the garage, we can arrange to have your vehicle collected and delivered back to your home or place of work within the local area and subject to availability. Or alternately If you are more comfortable doing so you may use our letter box at the front of the building and we can take payment over the phone or by bank transfer.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as necessary. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
