☀️ After months of hot weather, now the rain has arrived, it’s a good time to check your tyres 🛞

Heat, UV exposure, mileage and general wear can all contribute to tyre ageing and deterioration. Add wet roads into the mix and your tyres need to work hard to maintain grip and clear water effectively.

Here’s what to look for:

🔎 Tread – Is it wearing evenly, and is there plenty left?

🔎 Cracks or splits – Check the sidewalls and between the tread blocks for signs of deterioration.

🔎 Bulges or cuts – Any visible damage should be checked by a tyre professional to avoid risking a blow out and for your safety!

🔎 Pressure – Make sure your tyres are inflated to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended pressure.

🔎 Uneven wear – This can be a sign of alignment, suspension or other issues.
