🎉 Celebrating 100 Years of Midhurst Engineering 🎉

This year marks an incredible milestone for Midhurst Engineering as we celebrate 100 years as a limited company.

From our early beginnings providing general and agricultural engineering services including the servicing of stationary engines we’ve come a long way. When the Visick family took control, they helped shape the future of the business by introducing motorcar sales and repairs in 1926, alongside petrol sales. It was during this time that Midhurst Engineering became a trusted recovery centre for those in need after breakdowns or accidents in the local area.

In more recent years, the company was proudly taken on by the Morgan family. Since then, we have invested heavily in new equipment, staff training, and the continued development of our services ensuring we can meet the needs of our customers both now and into the future.

To mark this special occasion, what better way to move forward than with the addition of a brand-new accident unit supplied by Ceyhan Recovery Trucks. With its impressive 10,000kg slide bed and 6-ton underlift with additional fork attachments also to add the 27ton meter crane. we think everyone will agree it’s a truly stunning piece of equipment and a fantastic addition to our fleet.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible people who have supported us along the way. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the years.

A special thank you goes to Guy, our Managing Director, and Brian, our Chairman, for their leadership, dedication, and continued commitment to the business.

We are very proud to have achieved this vital standard. Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed, industry-recognised certification that demonstrates we meet a defined security standard for protecting against common cyber threats. For you as a supplier/customer, it lowers risk by ensuring core controls are in place—secure configuration, access control, patching, malware protection, and firewalls—helping reduce the likelihood of breaches, downtime, and data loss. It provides independent assurance that our security practices are aligned to an established baseline

Cyber Essentials gives you independent proof that we meet a recognised UK baseline for protecting against common cyber attacks. For you as a supplier/customer, that means lower risk of disruption from malware or phishing, stronger controls around user access and patching, and better protection of any data we handle on your behalf. It also shows we take security seriously, have the right fundamentals in place, and are committed to maintaining them year-on-year.
