Tooting our own horn here! Our very own Holly was nominated for a BBC Make a difference award for all the work she does with vulnerable women in the area. Sadly she did not win but after an amazing night filled with local hero’s, we have come away inspired and want to do more for our community. So we will be giving away free vehicle health checks every Saturday throughout November and the first two weeks in December. We will be donating any “thank you’s” we receive to My Sisters' House CIO and a local community charity. Please send us suggestions of good causes in the Easebourne and Midhurst area - All the team at Rotherfield x

It looks like Spring is finally here.

Did you know that Spring is actually one of the smartest times to get your car into a garage, and not just because the weather’s nicer.

After winter, your car has usually taken a bit of a beating. Cold temperatures, potholes, road salt, and damp conditions all accelerate wear. Suspension components (like shocks, springs, and links), brakes, and tyres often come out of winter worse for wear—sometimes without it being immediately obvious while driving.

Spring is also a good time to catch issues early. For example, worn shock absorbers or damaged suspension parts might not fail outright in winter, but they’ll only get worse. Fixing them now can prevent bigger repairs (and higher labour costs) later.

There’s also a practical angle: garages tend to get busier heading into summer holidays, so sorting maintenance in spring means better availability and less urgency.
